Is it just me?

Is it just me to find it interesting that the public has donated over $700 million dollars to repair the Notre Dame Cathedral and zero from the Vatican when it is worth an estimated $10 to $15 billion dollars? Wonder how much we could do for the homeless with $700 million dollars? Just saying.
