Patriot Express Newsletter Edition #56
Fellow Patriots,
Good morning!
Welcome to the Patriot Express Newsletter (PENL) Edition #56. Thanks for your time and for being here. Ms. Lucy and I certainly appreciate you stopping by to check out news and views for the week. The world is a changing place and we are living through history. The question is which side of history will we end up on.
I hope you get this on time and delivery is not delayed. I will be heading out on the road early Thursday morning until sometime Saturday. I will be located in a semi-rural or remote area with minimal to no internet connection. I will be visiting some Patriot friends who are working their preparedness plans hard. We will be working on different plans, conducting a risk assessment for their area and plans, and throwing some rocks down range to test a couple of rock throwers. I always look forward to spending time with fellow Patriots around our beautiful country. If time permits, we will probably connect with some other Patriots in the same surrounding area. My goal is to preload this news letter along with Thursdays posts and have them auto delivered to you. I have not used this feature in the past so I’m hoping it works. Sorry I won’t be available to put out the morning bagels and coffee when you stop by to read the news. Enjoy.
Ms. Lucy and I would like to extend a big birthday wish to one of our Patriot sisters who is celebrating one of the milestone birthdays we all pass through during life. Enjoy your special day our Patriot friend.
HEALTH ALERT: The Coronavirus awareness level should remain increased during this period. There is no need to panic but folks should stay ALERT to their news and surroundings as well as guidance from the national leadership. The daily numbers are bouncing up and down and have yet to find a settling point. About 13 states have returned to work at this point with a few others to open soon. The decision to quarantine the healthy may have been worse than not. A few European countries did NOT quarantine the healthy and their end results are better than comparable nations that quarantined the healthy and sick. It appears as of now, the remain at home vs return to work orders are going down the party line of the elected governor for the state. The current numbers are Global: Infected – 3,671,661 Dead – 253,232. National: Infected – 1,213,863, Dead – 70,000. You may want to start reading up and preparing for a possible 2nd Wave of the Virus to hit the US of A sometime in October 2020. It appears a second wave is hitting certain areas of China at this time and the folks who previously had the virus are being infected again. Numerous success stories of folks surviving the virus included maintaining strong immune systems with vitamin C and Zinc. I realize these items are hard to obtain at this time. But if you have it you may want to include it in your regiment daily.
TRAINING: What are you doing during this period to check, recheck, or start your preparedness planning? This is a great time to dust off your plans or consider building your plans if you still do not have them created. You have several options available to you at no cost. YouTube is a great place to visit for additional information on topics of interest. Now is a great time to take advantage of any training available.
Currently I have posted 18 short training type Podcast on the Hope for Survival YouTube Channel covering numerous topics of interest to help in your preparedness planning. You can find Podcast on Risk Management, Gun safety, home and personal defense, preparedness training, driving security, interviews with like-minded individuals and other topics. I finally finished the Podcast on canning chicken with a pressure canner. I filmed it a few months earlier but was encountering conversion issues getting it in format so it would post on the HFS YouTube channel format. So, check it out if you want to learn how to can chicken. I am hoping to also post a new Podcast on Family Communication Planning soon. My schedule is pretty heavy at the moment so finding a time slot to grab an hour or two to do podcast seems rare more so than not. Bring a friend or family member and check out the HFS YouTube page. If you like, hit like and consider subscribing so you are notified when I post something new. You can visit the Hope for Survival YouTube page at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAxzpwOcydroW96rFBd2Vvw?view_as=subscriber
Another step we have taken at Hope for Survival is to begin a weekly virtual rally through Zoom where we discuss world events and topics of interest with the Patriots attending the rally. In week five we discussed preparedness and current events. Spending time with the Thursday evening HFS Zoom Group is becoming the highlight of my week. We learn, we share, we listen and we laugh. It is super special to see so much information flowing and friendships and respect developing between Patriots who not long ago visited the HFS together but as total strangers. You must have a sense of humor to attend.
If you have interest in attending a Hope for Survival virtual training event please email me at preparedness101@protonmail.com to get on the distribution list for attendance information. The virtual conference room information will not be posted in open on the website for OPSEC reasons.
We must make this brief public announcement to protect the innocent.
NOTE: Opinions shared in this newsletter are just that, opinions and nothing more. Read at your own risk. The owner and authors of this site are not responsible for hurt feelings or thin-skinned readers. We do our best to show restraint and respect to the best extent possible. We take as many precautions as possible and try to remain as nonpolitical as possible, however, there are times when I just can't help but point certain things out. Just saying. Stay the course, read what you want, and avoid the rest. Avoid fear porn as much as possible and the day will be okay.) When all else fails…I blame it on Festus. He’s a good guy by the way. Remember the famous words of General Joseph Stillwell, ”illegitimis non carborundum!!” (Don’t let the bas-turds grind you down)
Thoughts for the week – (Some may consider this the tin foil hat area. So, you may want to put on your knee-high boots and anti-foil hat to protect yourself from contamination.) Smile! Just kidding with ya.
I wanted to share this video with you for several reasons. I still get the sense that we have a lot of folks asleep at the wheel around our nation. Millions are watching the few stand up for our freedoms and our red, white, and blue. It's like many believe if it's not in their state or city, then it doesn't impact them. If you are paying attention to the news outside the mainstream media, you are probably missing it. I know folks who have turned up their preparedness measures and efforts to an accelerated pace. Many are watching Washington D.C. to see who gets arrested while the battle is taking place state by state. Liberties are being stripped one by one. They left no longer hides their intent. They are showing you live and in living color what they plan to do. Town by town, city by city, and state by state, arrest are being made while you sleep, while you try to make a living to feed your family. Church by church pastors are turning a blind eye to the right to practice one's faith and turning in the names of those who attend a service. These are freedoms we have enjoyed our entire life and now watch as they are being stripped away. Where do you stand and when will you take a peaceful stand to protect your rights? Think about it while you watch this video. This is just one protest of many taking place around America. I detected one foul word so if your ears are soft, I apologize for the word but not the message being broadcast by this former Marine. The battle cry may not be in your yard today but it may be at your city court house tomorrow. (Thanks to Festus for sharing this my way from Coach Dave's Podcast.) https://coachdavelive.video/video/1909/california-police-stand-down-after-marine-vet-challenges-their-integrity
Hopefully this has not been removed.

We experienced a beautiful weekend of great weather and sunshine. My mother-in-law (82), also known as “Bubba” has been residing with us during the Coronavirus period and our evenings often include a game night a few times per week and Ms. Lucy entertains her with old Hallmark movies of books she read long ago. She often tells me stories how she remembers me from the 5th grade when I was about as tall as a grasshopper and weighed about 50 lbs. At that time, I played Pee-Wee basketball and my deceased FIL coached one of the teams I played against. Ms. Lucy was a year ahead of me and her brother was a year or two behind me, but all three of us played in the elementary and later on the Jr. High band. Because we lived in the same small town in WV I can relate to many stories she shares today. She likes to tell the story and of course I listen to her stories. She is a wonderful lady who rarely expresses any opinion but likes to tell stories of her younger years. I enjoy listening to them as well.
On Saturday Bubba proposed we pack a picnic and head out to a park to enjoy some sunshine and the day together. It was a great suggestion and I’m always up for a Sunday outing that means driving through the country side. A time to relax and do some thinking. Riding through the country roads allows for lots of that. Just ask Ms. Lucy about the past years and me asking her “wonder what the cows are thinking about?’ as they stood in the fields. I have progressed over the years and I have learned to not share the friendship I have established with Wilson. I digress.
We found a table overlooking a beautiful lake on our sunny day. A nice breeze blew creating a relaxing sense around us. It was impressive to see so many families out hiking, site seeing, gathering around other picnic tables to enjoy the day. Everyone appeared to create some degree of social distancing. Folks seemed respectful of others as people moved around the area.
Me being me, my mind went in to action processing the scene and looking for paths to use if we needed to relocate for any other reason. This is mainly a habit from many years ago. At some point in my silent mental processing a thought occurred to me. I wondered “what each of the individuals around us think about what is going on in the world and do they really care.” I would guess we maybe had 50 people within 50 yards in our 360-degree range. How many of these people would raise their hand and willingly take some form of a vaccination. How many would put up a fight. How many would simply run. No, the percentages really don’t matter for the point of this conversation. It is simply me wondering how many people are paying close enough attention to what is transpiring in the world and nation in order to make a sound decision on some form of vaccination that could be mandated for the person and his/her family. How many will willingly raise their hand and volunteer for it? Better yet, if these people lived around me in my neighborhood and the government mandated the vaccination, would they turn on me and my family and turn us in to the government for an extra meal?
Yes, it may appear I have taken you cross country on a marathon to make my point. And, that was intended as well. I’m asking you, how much time have you given thought to what you will do if confronted at your front door with armed individuals saying “we are here to vaccinate you and your family?” What will you do?

How many of you are familiar with HR (House Resolution): HR 645 which include NOVAD or the Clergy Response Team? This has been around for several years dating back to the previous administrations of Clinton, Bush, OB, and our currently election administration. I bring this up because it may be surfacing again. Here’s the recent story I’m aware of and we all should be aware, church goer or not. https://www.wnd.com/2020/05/city-demands-churches-turn-names-addresses-phone-numbers/ These are historical links to past info on this topic: http://christianpoliticalparty.com/your-pastor-knows-when-martial-law-will-be-rolled-out/ and https://theyig.ning.com/front-page-news/the-pastors-who-signed-up
