Patriot Express Newsletter Edition #84
Fellow Patriots,
Welcome to the Patriot Express Newsletter (PENL) Edition #84. Thanks for being here. Thanks for stopping to spend some time with us. I worked from Northern Alabama this week and was amazed to find the trees still fairly covered in beautiful leaves. The color is spectacular. I get to enjoy them for a few days then Ms. Lucy and I will be heading back to East TN. for about ten days to enjoy the Thanksgiving holidays with family. We hope you are with loved ones during the holiday period and Covid-19 restrictions won't impede your plans. Enjoy the time, food, and warmth of family while time permits. It appears several liberal states are attempting to alter or deter families from being together to celebrate a tradition of our country. Stand strong Patriots.

HFS can't make this sign big enough to demonstrate my thanks and gratitude to you for your continued support to my book, Hope for Survival, How Food, Water, Shelter and Security, Could Save Your Life. Most of you know all proceeds above print cost goes to a local Christian Food Bank to feed locals in East TN who are in need. Each family receives about 60 lbs. of food. With Thanksgiving coming up, it is important to make the holiday equally important to those in need. Giving is a large part of the Hope for Survival platform and Ms. Lucy and I are happy to announce HFS contributed $500 to this effort. This would not have been possible without all the books purchased. Thank you so much.
The holidays are quickly approaching. A copy of Hope for Survival, How Food, Water, Shelter and Security Could Save Your Life would make a great gift to friends and loved ones. If you would like to purchase a copy you can do so on this website. If you would like multiple copies please email me at Preparedness101@protonmail.com. Your purchase would be greatly appreciated.
Thursday Zoom Rallies – HFS continues the Thursday HFS Zoom Virtual rallies weekly. We completed week #32 in our Zoom series and discussed current events, food preparedness and levels, and ended with the "chatter that matters" session where all attendees could have preparedness discussions in a open forum setting. Thanks to everyone who participated.
If you have interest in attending a Thursday evening “Hope for Survival” Zoom virtual rally event please email me at preparedness101@protonmail.com to get on the distribution list for attendance information. This is a great group and platform to learn and build friendships. The virtual conference room access information will not be posted in open on the website for OPSEC reasons.
HFS Huntsville, AL rally - Ms. Lucy and I rallied with a small group of Huntsville Patriots to introduce another Patriot sister and help get her in a like minded group in the area. It is always great to see Patriots and friends in the North Alabama region. No matter what we are seeing take place in our great nation we continue to prepare and team build. Hazardous events and conditions are not prejudice and can strike at any given moment. Thanks to the Huntsville Patriots for sharing your evening and welcoming our new Patriot sister.
Moving along …
We must make this brief public announcement to protect the innocent.
Ding, Ding, Ding...."Attention HFS readers..... Opinions shared in this newsletter are just that, opinions, and nothing more. Read at your own risk. The owner and author of this site are not responsible for hurt feelings or thin-skinned readers. I do my best to show restraint and respect to the best extent possible. I take as many precautions as possible and try to remain as nonpolitical as possible, however, there are times when I just can't help but point certain things out. Sometimes we must pull up our spenders and suck it up. Just saying. Stay the course, read what you want, and avoid the rest. Avoid fear porn as much as possible and the day will be okay.) When all else fails… Keep the faith and always have Hope."
Let’s move along and get to some thoughts...
Thoughts for the week –
Thanksgiving - This is my favorite holiday of the year. I enjoy so many past memories from traditions shared by my grandparents to make Thanksgiving special. Amazing food with homemade rolls, dressing, and turkey dressing. My grandmother loved to cook when she wasn't being a loving grandmother. The higher the pots and pans stacked in the kitchen, the better the food tasted. Each year the kitchen looked like a bomb exploded around the sink. Funny. Every Thanksgiving meal started by having the chance to test my luck pulling on the wishbone. She always served these baby cabbage looking things that tasted terrible and today I love them. Thanksgiving would not be the same without Brussel Sprouts. The meal was so good I hardly remember the homemade pumpkin and pecan pies served up afterwards. Looking back nearly 45 to 50 years ago, the biggest thing I remember was the soft genuine smile my grandmother displayed. A full time nurse, she always ensured her family had an amazing meal and time around the table for the holidays. As a child and teen, I never really had much thought to the room in her basement where she kept lots of canned food stocked up. I suppose growing up poor and raising her children in a coal camp in southern WV she knew what it was like to live day to day. Her and my grandfather always ensured family and friends always had food to eat and a warm place to sleep.
My prayer is you are with someone you care for and can share a meal in peace and warmth. No matter how bad it may seem around us, we are blessed each day to be American. If you have extra food or plan to be alone, consider sharing with a neighbor or stranger. The holidays can be a trying and depressing time for many fellow Americans. Please keep this in mind as we travel through these trying days.

You may have missed this noteworthy news because it didn't get little press coverage. A major restructuring took place in the Defense Department this week. You may have heard President Trump fired Secretary of Defense Esper and replaced him with a former Green Beret named Christopher Miller who is now the acting Defense Secretary. Shortly after this move, it was announced the military chain of command was changed and now U.S. Special Forces and Operations will no longer report through the former military chain of command to include the Joint Chiefs of Staff and now reports directly to the highest ranking civilian and the new ranking civilian for Special Operations Ezra Cohen Watnick. This is huge. Now, U.S. Special Operations will by pass the military chain of command and take orders from the civilian in charge who reports to Mr. Miller (Sec Def) and the President of the United States. Mr. Watnick formerly served as aide to Gen. Flynn. Bottom line, U.S. Special Operations is now their own military service equal to the Army, Navy, Marine Corp and Air Force. This move will get Special Operations in line with Military Doctrine.
Having served roughly eight years in U.S. Special Operations, this is a huge move and will expedite deployment and use of these "tip of the spear" warriors to needed locations around the world. Time is critical and the previous military road block has been removed.
I do believe we are going to hear and see more on U.S. Special Operations in the very near future dealing with counter-insurgency in America and around the world. Buckle up.
My prayers and best wishes goes out to these great warriors defending our Republic. Salute.

I managed to work a trip up on the mountain to visit Festus and the Cumberland Plateau crew for a few hours. Aside from the beautiful drive to the area, time together with these like minded preparers is always worth the time. I appreciate these Patriot Sisters and Brothers giving up their time to come visit and converse on preparedness and the world today. Thanks for your time to break bread and chat on many topics.
The trip also included some one on one time with Festus which means my head hurts now. No, no, no, not meant in a bad way. This always means deep conversations and really putting the mental energy to work to try and figure out where we think things may be heading. We have so many mental files stored from years of reading, analyzing, and trying to put pieces together based on past, present and potentially future information, decisions, laws, and political actions. This may not make sense to many but so many things we are seeing today actually started years ago when the last guy occupied the White House. Hopefully I will have enough active brain cells working to get me off the mountain and on to East TN. Maybe I can coax Festus in to doing a HFS YouTube video together.

If Covid-19 is killing so many people, why is it selective but state? Oh, why so selective in states led by liberal governors? Have you looked at the actual totals per liberal vs non-liberal state? Why are the citizens of each state not revolting yet to the mandates that continues destroying our ma and pa local businesses? Apparently the people aren't mad enough nor have they felt enough direct pain to say enough is enough. Better yet, why are citizens not bailing out and fleeing to non-liberal led states? If you are paying attention, it is only going to get worse. As long as the citizens continue complying vs revolting, the minority liberal will continue locking down the citizens. This has nothing to do with Coronavirus-19. Have you ever heard of or read Agenda 2030? You may wish to do so immediately. Get smart and stop allowing your Constitutional rights to be stolen away. You are being enslaved to your home because you allow it to happen. The unjust continues to go uncharged. The criminals are being let go free. Yet, the tax paying citizens who are not breaking any laws are being stripped of their rights and locked down because the system knows you will comply. Think about that. You can revolt and speak out without being violent, at this point. There is no logic to the madness taking place all around us. Yet, those who are logical and law abiding citizens are following the mandates as directed. Just as planned.
