Patriot Express Newsletter Edition #94

Fellow Patriots,

Welcome to the Patriot Express Newsletter (PENL) Edition #94. Thanks for stopping to spend a few minutes with us this week. We are honored to have you reading this weeks edition. Depending when you stop in maybe have some pizza or a morning serving of bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy and whatever else makes you happy. I would say grits as well but some of you may still be on your New Years resolution diet and need to eat healthy. You can have biscuits and gravy on a diet, right? You could call it the Hope for Survival diet. How about that. The only other food I'm willing to exchange for biscuits and gravy would be gravy and biscuits.

It has been another amazing week here at Hope for Survival. I'm still here in Huntsville, AL for the week bugging out with Ms. Lucy at our southern location. Last weekend I had two training classes to conduct, one with the Huntsville Group and one for a new group in Shelbyville, TN. As I explained last week, it is always my honor to spend time with new Patriots and build new friendships. A big thanks goes out to my Huntsville Patriot brother for securing a location for the Saturday training and my two Patriot sisters for setting up and hosting the Shelbyville, TN event. It was truly a blessing from start to finish. Thanks again to everyone who participated. Things are moving forward at both of these locations. Amen to that.

One note for website users. I didn't realize it but several folks did not realize you can find folders set up on the blog page where all posted articles are filed in the folders. Example the PENL is filed under the Patriot Express News Letter folder. You can also find information and checklist for folks with disabilities and for children. There is also a recipe folder. Simply look for the word "more" near the top right and click down on the arrow. The folders will appear. Hope this helps out. Sorry for any past confusion.

Thursday Zoom Rallies – We are at the end of January already. Can you believe it? We had Zoom Rally series #39. I appreciate everyone who attended and participated in conversation on the topics covered. We continue moving forward on group building in multiple states and regions. If you wish to attend a Zoom Rally monitor the website for each weekly notification for the upcoming meeting.

Moving along …

We must make this brief public announcement to protect the innocent.

Ding, Ding, Ding....Attention HFS readers..... Opinions shared in this newsletter are just that, opinions, and nothing more. Read at your own risk. The owner and author of this site is not responsible for hurt feelings or thin-skinned readers. I do my best to show restraint and respect to the best extent possible. I take as many precautions as possible and try to remain as nonpolitical as possible, however, there are times when I just can't help but point certain things out. Occasionally I use words only Patriots recognize and understand. It's not personal against any non-Patriot. It's just the truth. Sometimes we must pull up our spenders and suck it up. Just saying. Stay the course, read what you want, and avoid the rest. Avoid fear porn as much as possible and the day will be okay. When all else fails… Keep the faith and always have Hope.

As HFS continues to grow, I believe it's important to remind everyone respect and honor is important to the HFS family and mission. We welcome everyone aboard and hope you find a comfortable place to hang around and learn preparedness. I know you will find the HFS family offers some amazing people. With multiple platforms (Zoom, Signal, and Comment section in articles) to interact with other HFS members, I remind everyone to treat one another with respect. We all come from different backgrounds, ages, experiences, and desires. Disrespecting, demeaning or intimidating comments will not be tolerated on any account.

Let’s move along and get to some thoughts...

Thoughts for the week

It has been another fast week in the world of Hope for Survival. I as the HFS mission grows and more Patriots join, the time needed to keep things on schedule increases.

I was blessed to spend Saturday morning with the Patriots in the Huntsville Group teaching the Preparedness 102 and Node Class to long time Patriot friends and new Patriots as well. We spent three or so hours together going through building the foundation for a group and then adding the walls brick by brick. By the conclusion of the day, the group had selected a leader and the foundation was started. I appreciate the elected Patriot accepting the leadership role. He has since put together a agenda for the groups first meeting coming up soon. It was great seeing and spending time with these Patriots. Many have been with me along this journey since 2012. Thanks for your support.

On Sunday Ms. Lucy and I drove north to Shelbyville, TN to setup and teach Preparedness 101 and 102 to a new group of Patriots. A long time Patriot sister and her Patriot daughter scheduled and hosted the event to start the new group. I have to tell you how awesome all the food was to include white chicken chili and all the amazing cookies and treats they had for everyone. It was such an honor to meet and spend time with these wonderful Patriots. . Farmers, cattle ranchers, retirees and so forth. They all had a common bond. They lived the life daily of a preparer. This group included a well trained ham radio operator. The foundation was in place and this group is off and running. Hopefully in the very near future we can bridge this group with the Huntsville, AL group. I thank the two host for their kindness and hospitality to make this happen. Ms. Lucy and I had a wonderful day with you.

I would like to address a topic that has surfaced this week in regards to the legend of Q or Q Anon. Over the past few years I took aim at the Q movement but never meant it to be personal towards those who took the bait and followed the movement. Having spent 20 years in the military and 10 of the years in the Special Operations arena working Black Programs, the Q story seemed like fairy dust and to good to be true. The information Q was supposedly releasing was high level intelligence that very few would have access to knowing. It doesn't work in this fashion. The sad part was millions of Q followers invested many hours and personal feelings in following and taking to heart the information being posted on the internet. Hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars was made on Q t-shirts, banners, hats and so forth. It was a booming market. Many statements stating things that would occur, such as indictments and arrests never took place. The following continued. I hated seeing so many like minded Patriot friends spending so much time putting the Q puzzle together. It never happened and some good people ended up with hurt feelings and a bit of egg on their face. The only thing the Q movement accomplished was keeping millions of Patriot conservatives on the front porch waiting for the parade to start. Let me say this again. When you are watching videos and sources talking about information they received from a source, it is likely not reality. I'm sure the sources mean well and believe what they are sharing. Just don't believe everything you hear or read. We live in a world where today information is as untrue as true. It is meant to be that way. There are high level professionals who get paid large sums of money to mislead the masses. Information controls the mind which controls the people in a direction or way intended. Here is a link to a short video interview on what Q actually was. (214) Exposed - Creator of QAnon Speaks for the First Time - YouTube

I'm happy to share I just went back to the printer for the 5th set of Hope for Survival books that I will pick up next week. My printing company is in Huntsville, AL so I have been able to take some business to this family owned business. Thanks to everyone who purchased my book in the past weeks. The lines at the food bank continues to grow larger so selling books gives me the opportunity to donate all proceeds above print cost to support efforts to feed those in need. Bless you all.

I'm really excited for the weekend because I will be home with 48 hours of free time with Ms. Lucy in the same location. After 21 straight work days, I need a short break to recharge and be ready to come out of the gate full speed on Monday. There are other locations with new groups waiting on me to make my way to them to provide training and support. These are exciting times for HFS and all the honorable Patriots throughout trying to get better prepared for the unknown ahead.

Okay, lets move along to the news…
