Moving along …

We must make this brief public announcement to protect the innocent.

Ding, Ding, Ding....Attention HFS readers..... Opinions shared in this newsletter are just that, opinions, and nothing more. Read at your own risk. The owner and author of this site is not responsible for hurt feelings or thin-skinned readers. I do my best to show restraint and respect to the best extent possible. I take as many precautions as possible and try to remain as nonpolitical as possible, however, there are times when I just can't help but point certain things out. Occasionally I use words only Patriots recognize and understand. It's not personal against any non-Patriot. It's just the truth. Sometimes we must pull up our spenders and suck it up. Just saying. Stay the course, read what you want, and avoid the rest. Avoid fear porn as much as possible and the day will be okay. When all else fails… Keep the faith and always have Hope.

Let’s move along and get to some thoughts...

Thoughts for the week

I had a very strange thing happen to me last Saturday. Nothing major, just strange and unexpected. It was early Saturday morning and I was pulling in to a local gas station to fuel up for another road trip. It was around 7 am. When I pulled in to the lane to stop at a pump my phone dinged notifying me of a new text message. I stopped and turned my engine off and then picked up my phone to read the message. I read the text and then exited my vehicle to get the gas. As I approached the pump I heard someone laughing really loud. I continued on and the I then heard a voice saying something to me and then laughed again. I looked over to the opposite lane and a middle aged black male said "you don't have to worry, no one is going to rob you, go ahead and get your gas." I half smiled and said "oh, I'm not worried about that at all, I shop here often." Again he said "you didn't get out of your truck when you noticed me over here, ain't no one going to rob you." He then laughed again. I said "being robbed is the last thought on my mind and that I had been reading a text. I told him to have a blessed day." He laughed and shook his head.

This was probably a small isolated incident and I didn't lose sleep over it. But how many incidents are small and isolated yet one ore more people end up dead. There is no dislike or hatred between the man and myself. We don't know one another. But, our society and the media continue creating this division between people, race, religion, and socio-economic classes of people to drive this wedge of hate and no trust. I did think about it and had I been looking for trouble or a person who is paranoid or wishing to escalate the scene, it would have been easy to do. Even had the man's words been true, what was the need for his comments or approaching me with his thoughts other than to address his point which came across as sarcastic. You see, this situation had a racial tone but in reality it was about two people who simply see the world today from different perspectives. I had no ill will towards the man from the start or until it was over. I was not going to escalate it but at the same time I was positioning myself to distribute the amount of force and self-defense needed to protect myself.

This goes along with something I have shared many times over the past months. I talk about thinking and being "outside the box" and thinking "left of bang" in all situations and circumstances. What do we see and hear that alters, in anyway, what we are doing. What are my surroundings. In this case I could hear the words of the man who was about 20 feet from me located in his drivers side car seat. His engine was running but I couldn't see his hands. So while I continued communicating with the man, I started engaging "verbal judo" in my exchange to try to lighten the exchange. I randomly used my hands while talking to give him a off and on view of my hands. While I was listening and then communicating, I opened my passenger side front door to block his view of me from the chest down. I acted like I was putting my cell phone on my seat when I was actually using the door as a short action on my part to move his eyes off of me and on to the door. I was also turning on my voice recorder on my phone to capture any potential escalation of the situation. In that quick few seconds I was able to reach under my shirt and relocate my personal protection from waist line to the edge of my seat where my hand rested with it. This also afforded me the ability to jump through the cab of my truck if I needed to do so. I was not threatened at any time but I also wanted to appear non-threatening to the man yet capable of engaging a level of defense to control the situation. Through voice control and my choice of words I wanted to appear as nonthreatening as possible while actions appeared non-confrontational to the man, I was setting myself up for self defense. At no point did the man's words or skin color pose a physical threat to me and that was my primary concern and focus. Habit allowed me to move and position myself with minimal effort or thinking on my part.

We must always be on alert and focused while still living life to the fullest as much as possible. Because I had already surveyed the environment as I pulled in to get gas, I already knew what was around me, escape lanes if needed, number of customers in the store and so forth. How do you know if you are left of bang if you haven't determined what is your environment and potential threats? Risk analysis in all you do. So many people around us are suffering from delusional psychosis. Our environment continues turning up the beat on the boiling pot and the frogs are trapped with no ability to get out on their own. Think about that. We can either stay in the pot and be part of it or step out of the pot and survive, hopefully. We just have to remember not everyone around us is bad. Yet, it only takes one individual having a bad day to ruin your day.

Next....

I want to quickly mention a topic here that everyone needs to get smart on quickly. Like yesterday. I have talked about this topic the past year and more recently Festus and I addressed this during a couple Thursday HFS Zoom rallies. The topic is Social Credit Scoring. China already has this in place the past few years. Google and Facebook has been collecting information on US citizens to store and hold until the US deploys a version of the Chinese system. The Social Credit Scoring system monitors all social media, text, email, phone communications and any device you may communicate with. This also will include your neighbors, family and friends. If you say anything derogatory about the government and programs your social credit score will decrease. So what. Then the punishment is handed down. Your movement will be restricted. Your travel will be denied. You can be evicted from your home. Your social media will be suspended. You will likely lose your job. It goes on and on. If you send this negative information out to a mailing list, those on the list must report you or else their Social Credit Score will also be punished with the same measures. Are you getting the picture here? Banks and credit card companies are following this craziness and supporting measures being put in place by the federal government.

If you want to more information check out this Glen Beck product discussing the same thing. SOCIAL CREDIT SYSTEM? Financial institutions' IMMENSE new powers over YOU - Glenn Beck

You need to grab your bicycle helmet, a bag of popcorn, turn off your cell phone, lock your door, close your curtains, and follow this link. This is a must. It will make your head hurt and if it does, start it over and watch it again. When folks ask me about EMPs and protection, I normally stay neutral and have simply commented "don't believe everything you read and see" and "there's two sides in beliefs recommended to protect from EMPs." I have commented about who and where I get my information for guidance on EMPs. Take time and watch this two hour video. This is a must. Once you watch it fully you will understand my comment above better.

David Womick will be the Heritage Life Skills Friday Night guest speaker. He was in this video talking EMPs and the Black Sky Event. Jonathan Hollerman who I have referenced and recommended his books to you will be the Saturday Evening guest speaker. This alone is enough to come to Waynesville, NC to attend HLS 2021.

Okay, lets move along to the news…

1. Survival Doc - Water Collection System - https://youtu.be/6RvuDzfcuKc - This is an easy system to understand and replicate if you so desire. Survival Doc provides great explanations to his designed system. If you are wanting to build a water collection system you may want to check this one out.

2. Mountain Rose - HFS Thursday Zoom Rally - Old Time Remedies - It was great to have another fantastic presentation made by a HFS Zoom member on Old Time Remedies, Recipes, and other goodies. The video file is to large, however here's notes from the additional information shared.

Acid Reflux Tonic

Other recipes and goodies shared:

GRANDMA'S OLD-FASHIONED REMEDY TO KILL BAD BREATH: Grandma loved to use parsley in her cooking and as a garnish on her dishes. But as a breath freshener it was her favorite: Bring two cups of water to a boil, add three sprigs of parsley, 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Strain and use as a mouthwash.

.GRANDMA'S ALL-NATURAL HOME DEODORIZERS: Grandma use an aerosol spray?? I don't think so!! However, her home always smelled so nice. How did she do it? Well, to rid her kitchen of unpleasant odors, she would place a small pot of water on the stove to boil, throwing in some cloves, a few sprigs of rosemary, and several lemon rinds. The aroma of this spicy brew filled every room of the house, giving us all that welcomed feeling. And, she always seemed to have bouquets brought in from the garden consisting of roses (her favorite), lavender, lemon leaves, and orange blossoms...what a wonderful way to make your home smell wonderful.

Rock and Rye: Layer 1 orange and 1 lemon sliced, in a mason jar. Add cloves and cinnamon stick, with 8 ounces of rock candy, and 4 ounces of maraschino cherry syrup. Cover with rye whiskey and refrigerate for 48 hours. Take by the spoon or add to beverages.

3. From Bill White - Survivopedia - Emergency Plans: Are Yours Really Complete? | Survivopedia - Oh how I echo this calling. Are your plans ready, adjusted and adaptive to ongoing changes in your Five Mile radius? Only you know and it is you who must use them. Give that some thought.

4. From Ashely Adamant - Practical Self Reliance - Violet Jelly (practicalselfreliance.com) - A few months ago one of our dedicated preparers made home made violet jelly and announced raving enjoyment from the results. I have not experienced it myself but would love to try it sometime. Hope you give it a try.

5. From Ryan Dotson - Ask a Prepper - How To Prepare And Field Dress Wild Game - Ask a Prepper - I was just talking to a Patriot brother yesterday on this topic. This is one of the most needed skills amongst preparers. One of the HFS Regional Groups is taking up this need and plans on conducting training to their group on this topic.

Other News

1. Dane Wigington - Geo-engineering - https://rumble.com/ve7z51-weather-warfare-in-texas-snow-that-doesnt-melt-dane-wigington.html - In the early days of HFS I shared information and the website address for Dane and encouraged folks to visit his site to learn more on geo-engineering weather. Dane is probably my favorite source on this topic. This particular subject is on the strange weather that hit Texas. Snow that wouldn't melt? Hmmm

2. From Michael Yon - Dispatch News - Hong Kong — echoes — Organizational Structure Dictates Outcome (michaelyon-online.com) - If you have the time I would highly recommend you read this article. Excellent perspective by the author, Michael Yon, who is a war correspondent and former Green Beret Officer.

3. From Rob Braxman - How to pick a secure cell phone - I would encourage you to mark this YouTube page and visit it frequently. Mr. Braxman has great information to consider to rid yourself of big brother and the eye in the sky.

4. From Matt Bracken - American Partisan - The Digital Gulag: Why Team Tyranny Won’t Need Door-Kickers to Enforce the Coming Gun Bans | American Partisan - I believe this is a must read. Matt Bracken is my go to guy for sensible thoughts and forecast for what is next. Festus and I have been focused along these paths since about 2014 but the remaining pieces are falling in to place now.

5. From P.F. Kelley - American Thinker - What Will It Take to Wake Up the Millennials? - American Thinker - This may be the million dollar question I hear often. It is easy for us to blame this generation of citizens for the socialist thinking and anti-American protest and actions against the way of life we know as normal. What we fail to recognize or want to remember is we put our children in the public education system, left our children in day care centers and latch key kid programs, programmed television, and anti-American styles of music, while we went about life. Working to make ends meet and trusting the above mentioned programs designed for our children. Now we see the results. (Thanks Festus for this submission)

6. From Jim Hoft - Gateway Pundit - Biden Allows “60 Minutes” to Release Military Imagery Secrets that Saved US Lives (thegatewaypundit.com) - As a military veteran and avid red, white, and blue, American, this literally turns me upside down.

Drum roll...........

That's all my Patriot brothers and sisters.

Thanks for your time to read the PENL and hanging out with us for a while. We all have different desires in news and what we read at different points in our day. Hopefully HFS has provided information to stimulate your thinking and the realities around us. It is important for you to keep your feet and minds grounded as the world continues towards an unknown destination. In my Thoughts for the Week I bounce around to share what's on my mind for the week. I try to stay positive and upbeat and often thoughts are unrelated to preparedness and about life. I continue to be cautious to what I post simply to avoid the "woke" radar.

Thanks for your emails and messages. I enjoy hearing from you throughout the week and sharing your preparedness projects and accomplishments. Share with your family and friends and bring them aboard to get prepared. I also want to thank those who purchased a copy of my book this week.

Prayers - Please keep our great nation, our elected leaders, military and first responders in your thoughts and prayers. We pray for good health and wisdom. Please pray for our leadership to find answers and guidance to the problems facing our great nation. Please pray for the former President and his family. May your faith remain strong and answers to the unknown provided. God is good and may our prayers blanket and protect you and your circumstances. I pray for each, and every one of our Patriots. Please pray for many who continues to struggle through this period in our history. Please pray for our Patriot brother Glenn Tate and his family as the author of 299 Days recently announced his cancer diagnosis. Please pray for wisdom, energy, and efforts as the Carolina Readiness crew puts the final touches on the upcoming Heritage Life Skills event. May we pray for all the blessings and things in life to be thankful about and continued hope for revival around the world. We must continually pray for the unsaved, our family and friends who live each day without the protection for eternal life and salvation. Amen

The headwinds are strong against us but we must keep charging. Have a safe week. Don't allow the events around us to create fear in your life. Stay focused and don't chase rabbits. Build your own self-reliance and focus on hope. Remember we are a blessed nation and we must continue to be great people.

Blessings,

Bravo Echo Out,
