When I Can’t See the Way by Mountain Rose
I am getting more and more concerned about our nation. As a Patriot, and a freedom loving individual it is troubling to see the amount of freedoms that seem to have disappeared so quickly. Freedom of movement and association, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and our 2nd Amendment have all come under threat in recent weeks. I can’t see a good outcome for our nation as a whole. This troubles me in the deepest ways at times.
I can’t see the way ahead, but I know Someone who does. He is the God Who Sees Me. I can’t see the future, but He is the God Who is There.

I have to search the scriptures for encouragement in these troubling times. Do you find the same thing to be true for you? I truly feel as if I don’t have a choice, as foundations seem to be crumbling at our feet.
This requires walking in faith and the truth of God’s word even when we can’t see what is ahead. It also includes remembering the truth we already know about God Himself and His character.
2 Corinthians 5:7 “For we walk by faith, not by sight:”

Psalm 27:1 “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” KJV
Deuteronomy 31:8 “Do not be afraid or discouraged for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; He will neither fail you or abandon you.” NLT
Deuteronomy 1:30a “The Lord your God is going ahead of you. He will fight for you…” NLT
Psalm 139:5 “You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.” NLT
Isaiah 52:12b “For the Lord will go ahead of you; yes, the God of Israel will protect you from behind.”
