Greetings and welcome to the Patriot Express Newsletter Edition #167. Thanks for stopping by to spend a few minutes with us. I'm not sure if you should be racking your brain, racking your shotgun, or racking your preparedness resources from storage to the readiness posture. Staying focused is the key and knowing how and when to engage your plans is imperative.
This edition is about a different kind and the most important part of your preparedness steps. The three critical preparedness steps only you can address: Your physical, psychological, and spiritual preparedness. This is about you, me, a loved one, a friend.
I want you to think about this from a logical unbiased point of view. I hear lots of conversations regarding the rainbow movement, coalition, holiday and everything that goes with it. We see government sponsorship and a huge push of support for it. Speak out against it and you are a homophobic racist prude. No one talks about the extremely high suicide rate amongst those who do the complete surgical transition and later realize what they have done to their body and life. What am I talking about? Transgenderism. It is defined as: "persons whose gender identity, gender expression or behavior does not conform to that typically associated with the sex to which they were assigned at birth." We have been asking how 3% of the populace could have such an impact when it didn't apply to us, our morals, or beliefs. The more I think about it the more I realize it wasn't just the promotion of human trans identity. It was a nations transition to a new identity. To have this new identity, the movement had to first start the immorality and breakup of the home and church.
Now I want you to step back and apply this to the body of our nation. Think about the foundation of America and our founding documents and look at the transition the past 20 or so years and what we see today. Let me rewrite the definition applying the same meaning to our nation. Let's call it trans-nation. "a nation whose identity, identity expression, or actions, does not conform to that typically associated with the morals to which founding documents and laws assigned at birth conform." Hold this thought, I will address it below.
I want to shout out a big "thank you" and lots of hugs to everyone who reached out to our family during this period of dad's illness and passing. We have received so many uplifting prayers, cards, flowers, text and signal messages plants, and then a trio of HFS Patriots drove to Virginia from East TN to attend dad's funeral. I can't put into words how moved I was by such an outpouring of love and support. I have tried to respond to everyone personally as time has permitted. The HFS family is AWESOME. Losing a loved one is tough but knowing where my dad is at today is such an uplifting feeling. Having the HFS family and friends has been a true uplifting blessing during this time. Occasionally I use words only Patriots recognize and understand. It's not personal against any non-Patriot. It's just the truth. Sometimes we must pull up our spenders and suck it up. Just saying. Stay the course, read what you want, and avoid the rest. Avoid fear porn as much as possible and the day will be okay. When all else fails… Keep the faith and always have Hope.
Let’s move along and get to some thoughts...
Thoughts for the week - Relax. Pull up a chair and let me share some thoughts with you about my amazing week. If you see a typo or lost comma, forgive me but I'm focused more on telling you the truth.
I was going to not post a newsletter this week because of circumstances on my end. It would be the first missed week in 167 straight weeks. But, that is okay and not the end of the world. Some weeks it is hard to determine what I need to put in thoughts for the week because I have many and some are just to hard to explain. Very often I may know what I want to say, and then something happens or someone sends something to me that I then feel God saying :I want you to talk about this." So I was 99% convinced HFS would not post the PENL this week until the below video was sent to me late last Wednesday evening. Considering who sent it to me, what the message of the video is about, I felt the importance of getting this out to you above my own personal ongoings this week. We always had a saying in the Air Force that said, "service before self in all that we do." Amen to that. So let us move along. This message is important.
Like I said above, the three critical preparedness steps only you can address are your physical, psychological, and spiritual preparedness. Only you can address and correct as needed what I share with you below.
Sounds are blasting and horns are blowing. Do you hear them? Here at HFS we have been banging spoons on pots and pans, honking the horn and pulling the cats tail, for a couple of years trying to get Christians to listen closer to their church message. Is your church and pastor sending out the right message or preparing you for a beauty contest? You may be new to a church or a regular member over many years, but the time is here when you must tune in closer to the message being delivered to you. Is your church more focused on new buildings, new furniture, and pushing you through the service quickly to get the next service started? It may time for you to get up and find a new church with the right message. Big crowds, lots of friends, and a church of the community's top names will not get you to heaven.
Festus and I have probably spent hundreds of hours over the past ten years on the topic of this message. I don't think we are clairvoyant but we both felt it in our heart and soul that many churches and pastors failed his flock and tried to overshadow what was going on outside the doors of the church with fluffy messages. Around 2010 or so, we attended a rally in Huntsville, AL to promote Christianity and American values with special guest speaker, Evangelist Steve Hale. He was promoting his new book titled Truth Decay, which I have previously mentioned in earlier PENLs. The book is based around the erosion of traditional American values in American culture. A deeper dive focuses on how the church has contributed to a failure in leadership and community activism and participation. You know, during WW II the church played a huge role in communities across America. It was pretty much unheard of that a mayor would promote a new program or announce a change to the community without first bringing the church leaders together to discuss any upcoming changes.
Some believe faith and prayer is a private matter and will avoid any conversation on the topic. I can respect that belief. But just like calling out many who are caught up in psychological psychosis with all the government and media mind control, I do believe as brothers and sisters in Christ we must support one another and sound the alarm when problems appear. Part of the problem is the hierarchy of many denominations now control a pastor's message, movement, and ability to get your attention. I spent time with a pastor this week having a long discussion on things going on within specific denominations and how they are imploding quickly. He was one of several I have spoken with on the topic of the church's failure with its people and local community. I do believe this. But, let me ask you this, is it fair to throw the church and pastor under the bus and not the members? Ahhh, touchy spot huh? If we go in a church weekly and hear the messages and also know what is going on outside the church doors and say nothing we are just as guilty. Right? I think that is fair.
I am not questioning your faith or your commitment to God. I'm pointing out a major flaw in today's church and the message starts at the top. If a church is more focused on numbers and new buildings and not the message, it is probably the wrong church. What morals are promoted within the church? If a pastor fails to point out immoral actions and the elders and members also fail to correct the actions and then address to the pastor, isn't the church failing across the board? Many will say "it's not my business." True, it's not your business. But if it's God's word and you know it, the pastor knows it, and the congregation knows it, and fails to correct it, are you a church of God or of man?
A man is one. A church is many. Would you rather face coming storm alone? Or, linked arm to arm with fellow believers who are protected by God's armor? It is much easier to knock you down as one but almost impossible to brake the arm linked chain of many. Do you attend a church of individuals who will step out in the community and sound the alarm or will your fellow church members shy away because they wish to keep their faith inside the church doors? Give it a look and think about it.
A fellow Christian and Patriot brother from northern Alabama shared the video below with me last evening around 10 pm ish. I watched the video and the further it went, the more my jaws dropped and my feet tapped the floor. I started it a second time, a third time, and a fourth time, before I realized it. I had a thought while listening to the message that this guy was echoing what Festus and I talked about for years. I hope you will take the time to listen to this 22 minute message and give it thought. Listen a second time if need be. Or a third, fourth, hit share and send forward. If you question where your church stands maybe share this video with your pastor and see if you get a response. Should we continue setting in our seat each week feeling comfortable or like a fire is warming our back sides? You decide.

As Patriots we must stay strong and never give up. Our home, community, and nation need us now more than ever. Stay focused on your local community and things that will impact you around the nation. Don't allow the events around you to create fear in your life. Build your own self-reliance and focus on faith and hope. Remember we are a blessed nation, and we must continue to be great people today and make a better tomorrow. Keep charging.
