Patriot Express Newsletter Edition #168

Writer's picture: Butch ErskineButch Erskine

Greetings and welcome to the Patriot Express Newsletter Edition #168. Thanks for stopping by to spend a few minutes with us. We hope you are healthy, blessed, and doing great considering all the crazy stuff taking place around the world. HFS appreciates you and your time. Enjoy your visit with us.

Well, its nearly July and I have lots of tomatoes hanging....but they are all green. A few of the cherry tomatoes are ripened but the midsize and larger remain green. We do like friend green tomatoes, however the hope is to have a plentiful amount of red as well. Another Patriot neighbor told me the same is taking place at his home which is close by. The difference is we have had lots of bees around the garden and he stated they have not. Gardening is certainly challenging but very interesting to watch and see how different plants reacts to the extended high temperatures we are having. Something I learned from Hollywood during my visit to the Ridge in WV is he uses strictly rain water caught in rain barrels to water his garden. He is convinced his gardens look greener and produce better than when he used tap water from a hose. I have to agree with him.

I want to give a big shout out to the Patriots in VA, NC, and AL, who recently campaigned and/or worked the polling stations for their district runoff elections. This takes time and effort regardless of the results. Here at HFS we have been encouraging Patriots to get involved at the local level to be a part of the process and work for positive results. I would encourage more Patriots to get involved. Think about it, if you aren't a part of the process, can you really complain about negative results in the end?

I can't encourage you enough to buckle down on your preparedness effort. I do believe the belt is tightening in many areas that will impact each of us. Regardless of where you may be in your effort to be prepared, don't slow down or stop. I would much rather have too much than not enough. And its an investment because food can always be consumed at some point. Keep your hope and faith strong and don't let the gloom of the world get you down.

Okay, let us move along.

Thursday Zoom Rallies – HSF conducted Zoom Call #89 on Thursday, June 23, 2022. The theme was, "The Truth - Don't Live Life by Lies." During this event we discussed numerous ongoing events and programs to control the global populace through depopulation, artificial intelligence and virtual reality to deliver virtual babies using the cloud capability, and more. We also discussed the use of conspiracy theories, mind control, and other like programs, to control the media and populace to what is really going on around them. Thanks to everyone who attended this event. It was a great time together and many excellent discussions.

Ding, Ding, Ding....Attention HFS readers..... Opinions shared in this newsletter are just that, opinions, and nothing more. Read at your own risk. The owner and author of this site is not responsible for hurt feelings or thin-skinned readers. I do my best to show restraint and respect to the best extent possible. I take as many precautions as possible and try to remain as nonpolitical as possible, however, there are times when I just can't help but point certain things out. Occasionally I use words only Patriots recognize and understand. It's not personal against any non-Patriot. It's just the truth. Sometimes we must pull up our spenders and suck it up. Just saying. Stay the course, read what you want, and avoid the rest. Avoid fear porn as much as possible and the day will be okay. When all else fails… Keep the faith and always have Hope.

Let’s move along and get to some thoughts...

Thoughts for the week - Relax. Pull up a chair and let me share some thoughts with you about my amazing week. If you see a typo or lost comma, forgive me but I'm focused more on telling you the truth.

Okay, every once in a blue moon something finds me hidden amongst the trees and hills of East TN and grabs hold of my behind and literally chaps me like a sunburned goose. Sometimes I shake it off and press ahead while other times it grips me like a bur patch. So let me get this off my griddle for a minute. It's not personal, and it's not an attack against any make, model, or year, of sorts. This is a national problem that is destroying a percentage of our populace, and no one is allowed to state opposition. It is an attack on innocent children and it is not a fad, and it is not going to go away.

Let me lay out the framework.

A woman is defined as a female human being. A female is defined as the sex that can bear offspring or produce eggs, distinguished biologically by the production of gametes (ova) which can be fertilized by male gametes. This seems pretty clear to me, right? How is this so confusing? It blows my mind that our nation, one of the previous most educated societies in the world, now can't define a woman, and its more about who feels like a woman vs a biological woman.

Last evening, I was in the living room with Ms. Lucy. I was reading a book while she messed with her phone listening to preparedness videos. I'm not one to watch television very much unless it's a selected movie we choose, or a show on better gardening or something along this topic. Occasionally, we may tune in to the Daily Wire or the Blayze network. She turned on the television and pulled up a documentary on a host (Matt Walsh) traveling around the world trying to get a definition of a woman from mostly woke doctors, psychologist, and educators. I laid down my book as the show progressed and was astounded to what I was hearing and seeing. It is no wonder our children are confused and why parents of young children are fighting a lost battle with the public education system, medical system, and state and federal officials. Here is a link to the documentary trailer titled What is a Woman by Matt Walsh from the Daily Wire: What is a Woman? | Official Trailer | The Daily Wire Check it out. If you wish to watch the full documentary, it may take a subscription, or you may find a free trial link. It is worth the time and possible cost.

In our world, two plus two equals four. In the new world, two plus two equals four, is right, but if you answered five and said that five made you feel right, then it is right also. A woman can be a man if she feels like a man, regardless of biological makeup. Tell her she is wrong and you are now a homophobic racist human and often sought out to be destroyed. Your opinion does not matter if it is not in line with the woke movement. This immediately surfaces numerous ramifications to the individual, parents, provider, and society in general.

Ms. Lucy shared a recent story with me about a elderly lady who was in a car with a female who identifies as a male, married to a woman, and the (man) lady's two step-children. One of the young children, a boy (6), had a birthday coming up so the elderly lady asked the boy what he wanted for his birthday. He said "makeup so I can be like my sister." Flabbergasted at the answer from the six year old boy, the elderly lady quickly diverted the topic elsewhere. This is now acceptable in society and us old prudes are labeled racist homophobes who need to get with society. All I can think and/or say is "the Bible says." Can you hear the voices echoing off shuttering hills that say "oh, he's just a kid, he will outgrow it." The point is, it is being taught and encouraged.

It is mind blowing to me to see interviews with so many public-school teachers who identify as "other" sex and come into a classroom with multiple hair colors, a face covered in tattoos, ten earrings, and a mustache, then tell the kids their name is Mrs. Whatever. How can children focus on right and wrong, and education, when the classroom is a circus talking about body parts that are not indicators of a born sex? I remember back 20 plus years ago when the news broke stories of teachers bringing cucumbers in the classroom and showing young children how to place condoms on it. Oh, without parental consent or approval. Our nation about lost its mind. What happened? Now the nation finds no problem with what is taking place. Many universities are teaching and, in some cases, requiring a class on DE masculinity. Think about it. A public or private higher-level institution teaching why males should not be masculine. No, this does not apply to the university or college sports programs. Why?

What one does with their body behind closed doors is their own business. I don't care. But when public schools are funded by tax paying citizens and some citizens oppose what is going on, yet are told they are racist humans, its a different problem now. The mutilation of young children's bodies is not acceptable. These are life altering surgeries. How does a family try and teach a child right from wrong, male vs female, responsibilities, and respect, when eight hours per day they are in a corrupted system? Home schooling or private schools is an option but not everyone can afford this choice. When I was a child, young boys desired to grow up and be a Daniel Boones, Davy Crockett, or G.I. Joe. Today young boys desire to grow up and be like their sister. Does no one else seem to find a serious psychological issue with this? Feelings are important but so is knowing what is right and wrong. Without an understanding of this basic concept we have no boundaries.

Years ago Festus and I went to hear a guest speaker in Huntsville, AL, who was from Tulsa, OK. He had a lengthy, but, solid, presentation to present. It is so relevant today. He showed a 50 year history of the progressive movement and how things arrived to the date of the presentation which was around 2010 ish. The biggest thing I remember about his presentation was the goal of removing the father and the Father from the home. The government pays single ladies more money to have babies in fatherless homes than a home with a father. Imagine that. This is the same government body of elected officials who are supposed to represent the people, protection our nation, and spend our money wisely.

In past years, a dad would tell Johnny to take out the trash after school and Johnny responded, "yes sir." In the recent movement where Johnny learned to have feelings from the public school system, Johnny now says "why dad, I don't want to do it." Dad explains rules of the home to Johnny, and he goes straight to school and tells the teacher. Now child protective services gets involved over Johnny's parents rules. Like VP Harris stated recently, "when children are dropped off at school, the school owns the children and their minds." The rest is history.

I think back to my early years in public schools and the days of standing with my right hand over my heart to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. This was back when classes conducted story book days of reading about Pippi Longstocking. I remember my teachers being dressed in professional attire and my respect for them each year, even when I wasn't the best student they had. Over the years it seems the respect for the position vanished and so did respect for education, authority to educate, and now its a clown show. It seems more important to teach children about freedom of choice and choosing what they want to be, versus how they are born. In the meantime, children are no longer educated and become products of the system and live on the system as well. The big picture here is the national reproduction rate in America has dropped below the average rate to survive. This is happening around 80% of the world. The long term ramifications will result in depopulation of societies.

While parents struggle to understand and fight the battle to defend the education their child is supposed to be receiving, the system has already moved far down the highway past the point of argument and debate. Someone else already decided these points for the system while the parents tried to work and put food on the table. This goes along with the point I made last week. Don't live life by lies. Don't trust what you are told and judge by what you hear and see. Both political parties uses people, races of people, and socio-economic classes of people for their own gain. Don't throw rocks at me for saying it because it is true. Most American homes are broken. They are fatherless and mothers must work multiple jobs to survive. Parents use the internet as a babysitter and fail to realize how tech savvy children can be. If trouble doesn't find them, they will soon find the trouble.

I was told by a pastor some months ago that todays youth will not respect those of us who are older when we try to discuss lifestyles, morals, and careers, because we fail to see them for who they are. Does this mean to offer them positive guidance we must accept the tattoos covering their faces and pink and green hair first? I failed at the first step of the process. No, I'm not judging them on any account. Just as they have a choice to mark up their bodies and disguise the beaty of God's creation from within, I have a choice to avoid these discussions because my grandparents and parents taught me better. Key word is taught. I don't believe many children today are being taught anything except how to have feelings and live out their innermost desires. How to go win a trophy for finishing in last place. How accountability is not needed when its their feelings that matters most.

Think about this. Educators and medical professionals believe a child under the age of ten can and should decide what their gender will be based on how they feel. Didn't we used to teach our youth that choices come with consequences? These same youth who are making gender choices are also the same youth coming to school as a cat, dog, sheep, or goat. Teachers are not allowed to question the child and must accept this daily choice of the child and children, for that matter. A child may have a cat or dog collar and require walking outside for potty breaks. The little girl wishing to be a cat for the day could require a litter box set up in a bathroom or closet. Interestingly, when you google these topics, you get a fairly equal split to these events taking place. Oh, the child will not answer questions and will only make applicable sounds the animal makes. How on earth does any system or educator allow this to continue? This is also why so many teachers are now opting to retire. They no longer have the opportunity to educate young minds.

In my youth, we could visit a traveling carnival and pay a quarter to walk into a tent to see a freak of sorts. Today, you can visit many venues to find the same view for free. Imagine raising your child around the dinner table where you had discussions on respect, morals, education, and an acceptable framework to guide them through childhood. Then you take the child to school and walk into the classroom on day one and find a 6 ft, figure in a shirt skirt and hiking boots with long curly hair. Then the figure turns around and appears with numerous earrings, face tattoos, make up, and a mustache with manly sideburns. Then a high-pitched voice squeaks out a voice identifying the figure as Ms. Jones. Your child looks up to you with a look of confusion and fear. How do you respond? Be careful, your view of a moralistic and structured culture is no longer acceptable. See how easy it is to mess up? In the new world I cannot apply the term manly because it could apply to every gender on the books today.

We are outside the system of a controlled movement and now trying to be adults and mentor our grandkids and the youth of our nation no longer works in most cases. Today, parents simply give birth and put a roof over the child's head and feed them. No need to teach them because the public school system has volunteered to do just that. Our grandparents set us up with a good nation to have a good life of quality and prosperity with some effort. I worry what our grandkids will think about us when they realize we failed them. We allowed what is taking place in America today to occur because we chose to live the American dream and trusted a system that was failing us behind our backs. Sigh.....

About five years ago a dear Patriot brother from North Alabama provided me with a starter root from his father's fig tree. We placed in the root in a cup of water, and it slowly grew to a point of planting in the ground. For about a year or two, we worried I would weed eat the root by accident. Now, the root is a tree about 7 ft tall and it appears we are getting our first figs now. It is exciting to watch the developing process. You may not have experienced figs or fig jam, but it is fantastic. A good hot biscuit with fig jam and a glass of milk on a cold night is excellent. I know it's just a tree to many, but this is a special tree because it was gifted to me by a dear Patriot brother who passed it on from his father. With the fig tree addition, we have blackberry, raspberry, elderberry, and blueberry, to go with the figs. Life is good.

Here is a picture of our first hanging figs on the tree.

Upright gardening....Yea, I get it. "Why plant and grow anything that I can collect at the local markets for a buck or two?" "I don't have time to grow anything." The only thing I have grown in my life is dust and plastic plants." "I live in an apartment and don't have any way to grow anything." The one I'm never told is, "I'm lazy and don't want to learn or put forth the effort." I do believe we will see a date soon where one who doesn't work to provide, grow, or produce food, will not eat.

Here is a good video showing and discussing upright gardening for anyone wishing to do patio gardening or small space gardening in limited conditions and space. Give it a shot, you may enjoy it. Gardening is not only a productive method to grow food, but also a peaceful way to enjoy some work. A wise man used to tell me during my years of youth, "can't, never could do anything." I agree.

In the past weeks I provided different charts for the growing season with vegetables and herbs. Here's a couple herbal charts to save and use as needed.

And that's our thoughts for the week....

Preparedness News

1. From Green Thumb Gardners - Tomato Leaves Turning White (Identify & Treatment Plan) | Green Thumb Gardener (gardenerthumb.com) - I was talking with a fellow Patriot recently who shared how his tomatoes are staying green longer than normal. Maybe the plant, soil, level of sunshine, could be factors? My tomato plants are loaded with multiple sizes of tomatoes. Green tomatoes. We've only enjoyed red cherry tomatoes so far.

2. From Tom Marlowe - Survival Sullivan - Purifying Water with Bleach Step by Step - Survival Sullivan - Anyone not familiar with purifying water using the bleach method should consider copying these steps for your paper library. This is just one of several methods one can use to make water safe for consumption. Water is maybe the most under planned for resources in preparedness. It would be a grave mistake to assume your town/city tap water will be available to you regardless of disaster type.

3. From Melissa K. Norris - Raspberry Leaf Tea Benefits + How to Make Raspberry Leaf Tea - Melissa K. Norris (melissaknorris.com) - This sound fantastic and its healthy. This is a very nice website with opportunities to learn different preparedness skills in the food category.

4. From Janet Walker - Survivopedia - How To Transform Your Garden Shed To Grow Your Own Food - Survivopedia - I have no plans to take this step at this time, however, it is something to keep on the shelf in case the need would arise. Looking through the article I found a few different points of interest made.

5. From Rachael Blasbalg - Ask a Prepper - The Seedbank You Need To Build Before The Upcoming Food Shortage (askaprepper.com) - This is another overlooked and ignored critical resource we will need. Seeds. It is assumed we can always buy seeds. True or not, I don't know, but I was told a person who orders seeds annually stated everyone needs to stock up because the seed suppliers are having problems obtaining seed stock.

6. From Almanac - Vegetable Seedling Identification: Pictures and Descriptions of Common Vegetables | The Old Farmer's Almanac - I have noticed numerous comments regarding different bugs and issues on garden vegetables and folks planting a garden for the first time trying to identify plants. This is a good website for plant identification and different gardening issues. Check it out.

Other News -

1. From Douglas Macgregor - American Conservative - When the Lies Come Home - The American Conservative - No one should be surprised when the truth comes out. What? I thought Ukraine was holding their own. How do you put a cantaloupe on one scale and a watermelon on the other scale and convince people the cantaloupe is heavier? Lies and propaganda. Untruths control much of society.

2. From Charles Hugh Smith - Of Two Minds - oftwominds-Charles Hugh Smith: Our Economy In a Nutshell - Even at this stage, can you believe a percentage of Americans still believe the economy is doing okay? I'm not sure what rock they live under. This is a good review of the current economy.

3. From Sophia Lam - Epoch Times - Chinese State-Backed Hackers Targeting Major Telecom Companies: US Security Agencies (theepochtimes.com) - I believe if China waits long enough someone within the US of A will hand the information over. Seems to be the trend does it not? Money for secrets? Who knows, maybe if China bides their time someone will hand over some artistic drawings and painting with imbedded secrets. Just saying.

4. From Martin Armstrong - Armstrong Economics - Britain Head of Military Tells Troops Prepare for WWIII | Armstrong Economics - Interesting perspective huh? Granted our media is more worried about wokeness and rainbow flags than sharing the reality of the mess we are in as a nation.

5. From DRenegade - NC Scout - The IRS Is Buying Up Ammo, While The Government Intends To Make It Harder For Citizens To Acquire | NC Renegades - Wait, is this a flashback play from the Obama years?

6. Last evening I heard a radio broadcast sharing how Oak Ridge Laboratory is researching a parallel universe that could mirror our own. As fascinating as this sounds initially, it reminds me of the CERN in Europe basically working the same general research. https://www.home.cern/

Here is a description of the Oak Ridge Project: Leah Broussard, a physicist, is experimenting at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee with the intent to open a passageway to another world that may be similar to our very own. Dr. Broussard plans to fire an 85-megawatt nuclear reactor that can shoot out billions of neutrons on demand, through a lengthy tube.

Here's a few links to discuss the Oak Ridge research topic.

Drum roll...........

That's all my Patriot brothers and sisters.

Prayers - Please keep our great nation, our elected leaders, military and first responders in your thoughts and prayers. We pray for good health and wisdom. Please pray for our leadership to find answers and guidance to the problems facing our great nation. May your faith remain strong and answers to the unknown provided. God is good and may our prayers blanket and protect you and your circumstances. I pray for each, and every one of our Patriots.

May we pray for all the blessings and things in life to be thankful about and continued hope for revival around the world. We must continually pray for the unsaved, our family and friends who live each day without the protection for eternal life and salvation.

As Patriots we must stay strong and never give up. Our home, community, and nation need us now more than ever. Stay focused on your local community and things that will impact you around the nation. Don't allow the events around you to create fear in your life. Build your own self-reliance and focus on faith and hope. Remember we are a blessed nation, and we must continue to be great people today and make a better tomorrow. Keep charging.

Blessings,

Bravo Echo Out,
