Greetings and welcome to the Patriot Express Newsletter Edition #193. Welcome to Hope for Survival. We appreciate you stopping by and spending some of your valuable time with us. It's just over a week till Christmas and the weather is windy and brisk here in Huntsville, AL this week. A winter storm is working its way across the US of A right now so I'm hoping to get out of here by weeks end to get back to East TN. Santa's sleigh is out of the question because he is busy right now delivering early voter ballots for the 2024 election. Just kidding.
It has been nice seeing my coworkers this week for the first time since March 2020. I think it's called a happy moment in time. We have spent the past 30 or so months working virtual and together daily on Skype. We are here for a conference discussing future technology and witnessing a lot of security system offering lots of scary stuff that we talk about here in the PENL and in our HFS Zoom sessions. It is amusing to see the expressions on my coworkers faces when they see retina scanners, biometric readers, tracking devices, and mini drone tracking devices. I want to shout, "where have you all been, wake up."
Hey, it's almost Christmas so I'm going to do my best to keep it upbeat and positive for at least 30 seconds, okay? Will that make you happy? I could post the lyrics to Grandma got run over by a reindeer or I caught momma kissing Santa Clause. I know you well enough to know you like psychological thrillers instead of things to make you feel good. The numbers prove it. I guess I could write a few lines about Santa being a serial killer and drones coming in and attacking him on his sleigh.
On a serious note, we hope you are able to be with loved ones over the Christmas holiday and get to enjoy your time together. Have some fun and laughs. It has been a long year for many, and we all deserve a break and chance to stop and forget the world around us for a change. No politics or lib tard bashing for 24 hours. Hey, even my dad who stayed loaded with barrels to wait for me to get home and start bashing conservatives, had a sense of humor. One year he bought me a Hillary Clinton nutcracker. You placed the walnut between her knees and squeezed her feet together cracking the nut. He thought it was funny as heck. I laughed for his sake.
My gift from you. WHAT? Yes, I have a request that I would like from you for someone else. I have numerous friends, acquaintances, warriors, and missionaries around the world serving and doing great things as unsung heroes to help others who are without coats, shoes, gloves, and even socks. These awesome human beings are buying clothes out of their pockets to help total strangers. Some are rescuing children from pedophiles and demonic cults in the United States and around the world. Some are away from home and their families working disaster zones of past and recent disasters from Oklahoma, Florida, and the recent tornadoes in Louisiana. Most, if not all of these fine humans will be away from home on Christmas, but I promise you if you could ask them personally, they would tell you their gift is helping others. Thoughts for the week -
Imagine - We have shared a lot of crazy stuff with you in 2022. I'm sure a few of you are still scratching your head and saying I'm off my rocker. If in person I would bet them a Twinkie, I'm right. We think when a person dies, we burry the body, while their soul and spirit leave the body, right? Imagine if we could take the deceased body and prop the body in a chair upright at a table. What if through technology you could watch a television or computer monitor and that person could present the evening noise in real voice and accurate lip movement and eye blinking. Crazy huh? Just imagine, this is technology from the 1970s.
Advanced technology - You need to call and dispute a credit card charge on your card, so you call the 1-800 number. The phone is answered after pushing numbers for an hour to get to an English-speaking clerk who says, "How can I help you?" After a few minutes of question and answer and a few chuckles and laughs, you are helped. You smile and hang up while telling someone in the room how nice the person was. Imagine if the person on the other end was not a person but a computer program generating questions and answers based on the problem at hand and the mood is driven by algorithms and perception based on your voice? Spooky huh?
Your twin - If you wonder why the voice on the other end is so happy to talk to you it's because they are looking at you. What? No way. You didn't send a photo to them, and you didn't friend them on Facebook, right? Imagine an algorithm so fast that based on your voice volume, inflection, and pronunciation, the software can generate a picture of you that the computerized clerk you are talking with is looking at your twin. Oooooooh, that's spooky.
Think Again - I have good news and bad news. Let's share the good news first. Over the past three years HFS has shared much, if not all, of what I'm about to share, here on the website and more in our Thursday Zoom sessions. The bad news? How bad is it? - I decided to place this article in this area vs other news because it is that important. I, you, we, us, could easily say it doesn't matter and we don't care. I'm suggesting it does matter and it could have grave consequences on our nation and each of us and our families. Just 25 years or less ago, the United States was the ultimate superpower of the world. People loved us and hated us, but no other nation could defeat us, and they knew military might was no comparison. Why is this important? Look around you today. We have two superpowers in Russia and China who need our land to grow food, energy, and technology. How capable are we of defending our nation if our enemies use advanced technology to eliminate our strengths needed to defend our nation? Soap Box - I don't know how much you use podcast platforms or listen to podcasts on a regular basis but you will likely see many of them dropping from the selection list. Why? Conservative voices are being targeted one by one with notifications they are being DE platformed for talking about January 6, 2021, rallies in Washington, DC and others are being dropped for speaking about the Constitution and other Patriotic stances. It takes funds to run a platform. Lots of money. HFS is a small platform and it cost several thousand dollars per year to keep it operational. That is without any funds being paid for personal reward for the hours invested writing, editing, filming videos, and more. These task all cost lots of money.
This ticks me off from the start because these voices are primarily right leaning Patriots. Their 1st Amendment rights are being denied. Their ideology goes against the current regime. They can no longer speak their opinion. It gets worse. How? Supposed right leaning freedom loving platforms are kicking these voices off the internet. Get that? Supposed Patriot platforms are selecting certain voices and wiping out their account. This means the host voice loses all their work. Zapped and gone. Think about that.
The truth is being silenced. When it is gone, where will you go for the truth?
Wal Mart or better known as Wally World is threatening to close stores across America. Not because of poor sales but because of theft. It is estimated their losses is approaching near 1 billion dollars for 2022. Some of us may not care if they close but I can tell you many communities across America only have Wal Mart or a Mini Wal Mart Express to shop. This has improved in some areas because Dollar General has flooded the nation with canned spam centers on every corner. Many Americans in rural areas only has this option to shop and get prescriptions filled. Closing these stores is a way of controlling availability of goods forcing citizens to move closer to cities and larger towns. What comes next?
While in Huntsville, AL this week I visited a Trader Joes store and walked away very impressed with products and prices. I was amazed at the number of items priced under $5 and also under $10. You can select lots of healthy choices in drinks, drink powders, teas, coffee, and more. Excellent prices on organic cleaning products. I was primarily looking for specific products promoted by Paterra on the Appalachia Homestead YouTube podcast. I found them all. I located the manager to compliment the store and prices. He shared how Trader Joes works to keep the middleman out of the process which allows them to price low. I mentioned four products I was specifically looking for and he not only took me to each product, but he also told me about the product and how each was made. No MSG and all naturals. I got a box with 8 ginger powder sticks to mix in water for upset stomachs. Liquid pomegranate juice with ginger and echinacea, organic peanut butter for under $4 per container, and a cleaning product for kitchen counters and bathrooms for under $4 per bottle. I also picked up some Trader Joe's ground winter coffee with spices. If you are near a Trader Joe's store, I would encourage you to check it out.
I wanted to keep it fairly light this week because I flooded you last week with about 30 minutes of reading material and a few folks ran out of Twinkies before getting through the newsletter. It's nearly Christmas and we all need to take advantage of this time to find peace and good will in some way. Find a place you can volunteer time and give back to your community. Go buy a blanket, gloves, and warm socks and go find a homeless person to donate these items to. Stop by a drive through and grab a meal to put with your donation. But, you must use caution because many of the homeless also suffer from issues which could make them dangerous to you. If you wish to do a good deed, contact your local police and them what you wish to do, and they may meet you and confront the person to give them your gift. Many are having a hard time because of high cost, lost jobs, family member deaths, and other reasons. Be kind and reach out to them to see if they are okay. It is a priceless deed you will never regret doing.

FEMA recently posted their annual Take Action and Prepare for Christmas. They call it the 12 ways to prepare. They follow like this:
1. Sign up for alerts and warnings with your local county weather station, emergency incident management/operations center. Many states and counties established these alert systems after 911 using federal funding. You may have to call around in your county to find the right place but having this notification system on your phone is a great plus to alert you to danger before it happens.
2. Make a plan. Yes, that means work. At a minimum you should develop a family communication plan using a P.A.C.E. system. Develop a home evacuation plan, security plan, food and water plan as well. You can find most of this information on this website and/or more detailed instructions in my book 1 which is also offered on this site.
3. Save fora rainy day. That is Greek for do your best to get out of debt as soon as possible. Don't be controlled by bankers or the system that is raking you over the coals in interest. I recommend the Dave Ramsey baby step program to get started. Debt keeps a strangle hold on your neck.
4. Practice emergency drills. Huh? You mean get out of your recliner and evacuate my home? Yes. Especially if you have kids and grandkids. There is a Patriot sister out there who conducts evacuation and other drills for her two elementary aged children. If you leave your home at 3 AM and your home is flooded or burned down along with your car in the garage. What is your plan outside of standing in the driveway with your Bart Simpson jammies?
5. Test family communication plan. As mentioned above, establish a P.A.C.E. plan immediately. You can find the information this website. What are you waiting for?
6. Safeguard documents - This is why I created the HFS Football digital stick which is sold on this website. You must create this resource either in hard copy or digital to protect yourself and family. Birth certificates, death certificates of loved ones, photos, passports, diplomas, deeds, and so forth.
7. Plan with neighbors - What? You mean I need to step out of my house and meet people? Yes, this is what I have been talking about the past months. Meeting your neighbors and establishing a community team. I bet you have at least one or more folks who feel the same as you. Based on conversations I've had the past few weeks, lots of folks will tell you something is wrong. They just need a nudge to start getting prepared.
8. Make your home safer - Ahh, like locking your doors, setting the alarm, closing your garage door(s), and doing a walk around each night for starters. Crime is through the roof in most areas. If you truly believe someone will protect you if you call 911, why are you different from all the folks who are being robbed, stabbed, raped, beaten or murdered? I'm not being funny at all. By the time the police arrive the crime has been committed and is typically over. Simply harden your entry points and make yourself a harder target. Take a moment and ask yourself, how vulnerable you are and if you would act as a criminal against you, where are your weakest points of entry for your home? This is as basic as it gets.
9. Know evacuation points - Tis was covered above briefly. If you don't have a plan and have not exercised your plan, how would your family know where to go once outside the home? If you don't have everyone rallying at the same location, then how do you know everyone is out of the home? You don't. If you and your family are separated during the day and a disaster strikes your area, do you have a communication plan and a designated rally point to gather post-disaster? Will you know or not know if the person is still alive?
10. Assemble or update supplies - Do you have a inventory of your supplies? Food, water filtration, medicinal, tools, ..... When your stress level maxes out during a disaster, I promise you remembering what you have and where it is stored will become a problem. Organize and document your supplies. Know how much and estimate when it will run out.
11. Get involved in your community - Need I say more? Thank you. Okay, I will. Five-mile radius. If the goal is stopping the threat as far away from your home as possible, that doesn't mean your driveway. It means several blocks away or down the road where you drop the tree across the road, or at the 1st floor entry point of the building if in an apartment. Your effort today is going to make a different. Waiting to start is like swimming with Twinkies in your pockets and expecting stop for a snack halfway across the lake.
12. Document to insure property - Anything and everything of value to you should be photographed, serial numbers documented, and a file built and saved. Actually, at least three sets of the document. Store in safe place that is protected.

I have read in the past that human counselors will be the number one needed profession by 2030. Think about it.

Prayers - Please keep our great nation, our elected leaders, military and first responders in your thoughts and prayers. We pray for good health and wisdom. Please pray for our leadership to find answers and guidance to the problems facing our great nation. May your faith remain strong and answers to the unknown provided. God is good and may our prayers blanket and protect you and your circumstances. I pray for each, and every one of our Patriots.
May we pray for all the blessings and things in life to be thankful about and continued hope for revival around the world. We must continually pray for the unsaved, our family and friends who live each day without the protection for eternal life and salvation.
As Patriots we must stay strong and never give up. Our home, community, and nation need us now more than ever. Stay focused on your local community and things that will impact you around the nation. Don't allow the events around you to create fear in your life. Build your own self-reliance and focus on faith and hope. Remember we are a blessed nation, and we must continue to be great people today and make a better tomorrow. Keep charging.
