Greetings and welcome to the Patriot Express Newsletter Edition #272. Thanks for stopping by for this week's edition of the PENL. I'm sorry I can't offer you a cold beverage or a snow cone to offset this heat. It is pretty brutal isn't it. Are the temperatures hotter than what we endured as kids or is it we are softer now because of air conditioning. I have to admit, I certainly don't find the same joy today as I did 50 years ago when listening to the old song Seasons in the Sun. Remember that happy song?
This was a travel week for me so available time to write on the newsletter or do YouTube videos has been a bit limited. Have you noticed you see very few, if any, kids playing outside these days? I have noticed in both Alabama and Eastern Tennessee it is rare to see a child or children outdoors during the summer. We've gone from creeks and streams to paid admission at the local pool. From water hoses to expensive bottled water like the stars drink. From cutoff jeans and old sneakers or bare feet, to name brand sneakers and stylish shorts and tops. It has been nearly 50 years since I enjoyed living outdoors all summer long. Oh, how times changed. The question is how would society classify the change, good or bad? Back in the day we had to get up and physically walk from house to house to see if a friend could come out and play. Sure, we had a phone with a party line. What!!! Yea, we had to share a single phone line with multiple homes. So, imagine having to share a single cell phone with three other siblings. Yea, exercise was a given around most homes.
Things are so different today. In many American neighborhoods parents can't let children outside the home for fear of being abducted or kidnapped. It is mid-2024 and I am still blown away by the number of people I personally know in the preparedness world who still refuses to believe pedophilia is a common occurrence in America. They also refuse to believe the level of child abduction occurring at high levels in America. Sad times we are living through.
I don't want to get too personal here or come across being insensitive to circumstances but every time I see a video of Uncle Joe wondering around in a field or off a stage, I think of the little shaky things that we see during Christmas at our elderly aunt's house. You know, shake it up and watch it snow. I know, I just ruined your own memory of the snowball shakers. I have this thought of pouring snow inside his head and he's mentally lost and doesn't know a direction to go. Seriously, where are we as a society, regardless of political party, that humanity is standing for this senior aged man who certainly is having cognitive issues being put out in front of the world
As we move along in this week's newsletter I want to ask a question. Who is on crack to a greater degree, the White House for believing we are so dumb that we believe all they tell us about Uncle Joe's health, or those who believe everything the White House press corps tell us. Folks this puts a circus to shame.
I have often commented about the state of America's churches today and on and on. This doesn't mean all churches however most churches will be labeled because of a single church, or two, or three. In recent months three prominent pastors hit the spotlight for allegations made against them from the past. T.D. Jakes for participating on sexual orgies with rapper Diddy. Tony Evans stepped down for undisclosed acts, and recently Robert Morris stepped down after a lady come forward claiming the pastor molested her years before. The church spoke and revealed he had told the church years ago of the affair. What is not certain is why the church attempted to cover it up. The young lady the pastor had the affair with was 12 at the time. Yes, we are all sinners indeed.

HFS Thursday Zoom Rally - HFS Zoom Rally #132 was conducted this week with a good discussion on different scenario events laid out for the group to deal with. The basis was using Rule of Law, Without Rule of Law, and Matthew 5:38-48 “You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth. ' But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. It was an excellent group discussion through each scenario. Thanks to all who supported the evening event.

Please pray for our leadership to find answers and guidance to the problems facing our great nation. May your faith remain strong and answers to the unknown provided. God is good and may our prayers blanket and protect you and your circumstances. I pray for each, and every one of our Patriots.
