Welcome to the Patriot Express Newsletter (PENL) Edition #87. Thanks for stopping by to spend a few minutes with us. It is a great day to be alive and loudly proclaim to being American. Ms. Lucy and I hope you are healthy and safe through this week and enjoy a blessed weekend with your family. We are in North Alabama this week and next week so we will get to enjoy special Christmas events through our local church.
We had the pleasure of doing a short notice HFS get together this week with a few new Patriots and HFS followers as well as long time Patriot sisters and brothers from the Huntsville area. It is always a blessing and treat to spend time together to catch up and discuss the world around us. There remains many concerns to the future direction of our great nation but we all remain hopefully and trusting the truth will be revealed in the end. Thanks to Huntsville Patriots for sharing your time with Ms. Lucy and myself.
I will be transiting through the hills of TN to meet up with Festus and another group of Patriots on Dec 18th to break bread and meet four to five new Patriots and HFS supporters since my last visit in November. HFS would like to welcome all new Patriots to HFS. We are gaining new Patriots daily and it is awesome. We are happy to have them but more happy to see so many like minded brothers and sisters.

Operations Greater Good - HFS has launched "Operation Greater Good" and it can be found at the bottom of the main page of the HFS website below videos. You may remember back to a Thursday Zoom Rally in September when the Page family appeared as special guest to share their missionary story in Southern Africa where they have lived for nearly 15 years. Ms. Lucy and I support the Page family and HFS decided to launch a support campaign for two specific projects. The Water Well Project for Zimbabwe and Mozambique and the Bible School Project. Several HFS Patriots who contacted me about supporting the Page's and their mission can do so at the link included in the HFS website page. Each project has it's own link to support. Thursday Zoom Rallies – Yes, we started back at full speed for our weekly Zoom rallies with Rally #34 on Thursday. I must say, what a great group of Patriots. It is such a blessings and completely uplifting to spend the evening in a virtual room full of Americans who love their country. This group has doubled in size since inception about 35 weeks ago. Thanks to all who attend and support this weekly gathering.
This week we covered some news for the week, some thoughts on Post-election news, and learned more on what is happening. We also discussed the individual global, national, and local threat matrix and what preparers should be doing right now during the unknown events to come in the days ahead. Mrs. Claus also shared some shopping methods to get cash back on resources collected in our personal preparedness plans. We all like cash back after we are adding to our plans, right? The group heard part of the interview conducted between Rick Wiles of Trunews and John Whitehead of the Rutherford Institute on Artificial Intelligence and the Global Brain. We closed the rally with the group "chatter that matters" segment of the evening.

HFS lost one of our Patriot brothers this week who went on to a higher place. A retired Navy Officer, Constitutionalist, with a passionate love for America, our brother was a good man and will be missed. He died way to young at 62. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family. Be blessed, brother JL. Thanks for your service to our great nation.

Let’s move along and get to some thoughts...
Thoughts for the week –
Freedom. What does the word mean to you? Do you ever really stop and think about the things around you or maybe places you have been around the nation which remind you of our history and events bringing us to our current date in time? For example, have you ever been driving down the US Interstate system and noticed something significant or maybe it catches your eye? How many of you actually took the exit and stopped to visit the largest ball of yarn in Cawker City, Kansas? I actually passed it a few times in some of my marathon trips via the highway system from point A to B. Time was important so I kept cruising on. But I remember it.
I've been truly blessed to visit 48 of our 50 states during my life. The remaining two states would be Alaska and Vermont I do believe. Lord willing I will also visit these two states in the near future after retirement. Sometimes I wonder if I see things from a different perspective than others. Of course I will never know and it isn't important I suppose. What I am saying here is not about me, but my wonder to how many of us remain. I don't see colors. I just see people. Men are statesmen and a handshake is worth it's weight in gold. Men show respect and wear their pants around their waste. He's are he's and she's are not its. Women don't become men and then carry a baby. This is not a human science experiment Communicate in words and sentences, not acronyms and sign gestures. Stand for our flag Learn your history and understand freedom is not free Someone paid a price. The backbone and strength of this great nation didn't happen with the snap of a finger Sweat, effort, vision, and faith carried us over mountain tops and valleys. We prevailed to this point.
Growing up things like this really didn't matter to me and I had a hard enough time learning state history and all the counties in the state of West Virginia during state geography. I could remember every NFL team, logos, players and coaches or music groups, songs, and album titles. An internal joke between Ms. Lucy and myself is I can't remember what I had to eat yesterday but I can remember the first time I heard a song in the 70's through 2000. I'm not sure why the song had significance in my life to remember where I was and why I remember the song. Like sports and music, I also remember places I have been with great detail. Faces, cultures, foods, and surroundings in time creates a diary in my mind.
Having road tripped across this beautiful nation multiple times, I would have my favorite albums that I called my "road tunes." So, the enjoyment of music contributed to my enjoyment of seeing new places. The first time I drove from Eastern N.C. to San Antonio, TX, took me off the interstates through rural areas of S.C. GA, AL, MS and LA. I was amazed to see the stick shacks elevated above swamps. I only knew of life this way through books and now I was seeing that many Americans lived this way in the 1980s. I would stop and visit Ma and Pa shacks for lunch to enjoy the culture. I can still hear the voice of the first Cajun I heard in rural Louisiana. Didn't understand a word the man said. But, he was an American. I still can see with vividness of the vendor on a bicycle in New York City selling watches from under his coat. Or, the feeling I immediately had when I crossed the last rolling hill and could see the Pacific Ocean in clear site with Oakland and San Francisco appearing so small. The vastness of the ocean took my breath away. It was almost beyond imagination to realize the size of the twin towers in NY City as a teenager and then to see them gone and only two massive holes in the ground the second time I visited. Ms. Lucy can't remember but she and I toured with our jazz band in 1976 and traveled to New Orleans, LA for two weeks to participate in the International Lions Club Convention. How on earth did a small town jazz band get selected to represent our state in this huge event. We stood on the 50 yard line of the Super Dome where the New Orleans Saints played on Sundays. This was big time to me. We got to enjoy a musical group from each of the 50 states and a group from each nation around the world. It was fascinating. Granted, I didn't know where half these countries traveled from and one thing that still remains in my thoughts is no musical groups represented the Soviet Union, Viet Nam or Cuba. As much as they enjoyed being in America, I enjoyed witnessing the bright colored clothing and music from the many cultures around the world except communist controlled countries. Freedom.
I have always remembered the impact on my thoughts when I think back to the many trips and things I've learned in my travels about how a single nation could offer so many different lifestyles and cultures. Food, personalities, priorities in life, socio-economics, different types of jobs providing income to family survival. Remember Farm Aid with Willie Nelson and others back in the mid 1980s where musicians raised money for American farmers? It never really seemed of importance enough to take time to understand it. The impact to American farmers when the government started shutting down a major way of life for farmers in America to buy the same products across the border. It was cheaper to pay the farmers to not farm than to produce food for our own people. Then I drove across the mid-western US of A and witnessed the miles and miles of farmland state to state not being used. Farms once great producers of food to provide to the American people had turned in to dust bowls. Politics destroyed the lives of so many producers. Even in Northern California, the state government destroyed many farms and vineyards by redirecting water flow simply to protect a small fish called a Delta Smelt. Who is really looking out for the good of the people?
From Mt. Rushmore, to Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon to the Statue of Liberty, the Emerald Coast of the Florida Gulf to the shores of San Francisco, our nation had so many cultures and professions making America great and the dream destination for many foreigners wanting to live the American dream. The freedom to establish a family, work hard, and be part of the American tradition. These are historic sites around America and along with these historic sites comes an equal amount of history. History, good or bad, was through sacrifices of many, all colors, ladies and men, it was through these events we arrived to this point. The first responders, the roofers and steel workers risking their life on high rises, to the teachers educating us on what made this country great. Many of these great Americans would stop and freely gather in churches across this great land to give thanks and spend time with their family before starting over on Monday. Thousands of construction workers built our interstate system to speed up deliveries of goods, fuels and supplies to keep our resources flowing and our materials available for industry. When I visited the many historic sites over the years I was reminded of the great men and women who sacrificed to make this nation great. The backbone of America came in many different colors, cultures and dreams. Different stories from different people, yet we stood for the national anthem and showed respect to our flag.
This story makes up "we the people" and simply put, "we the people" have been sold out. Many who made millions of dollars off "we the people" and our labor, funds, and hard work, sold us a bill of goods, both parties, and now rest in a high castle dictating how bad we are as people and our nation must change. Billionaires telling us we make to much money and have to much personal property. We are viewed as leaches of the nation who use to much food and water. Looking back and remembering all the differences around the nation, a common bond between all the differences was red, white, and blue. The American flag and freedom. A Constitution about "We the People"
While this story lived and events added to the eventual history, an ideology called Progressivism believed in controlling production and consumption by the people who made this nation great. A belief the government should control industry to limit the success of our people. Today, it is no longer kept secret and you are witnessing all cards on the table to make this ideology a way of life for Americans. Just look at the number of small town America Ma and Pa business owners being forced to close their doors because of a pandemic. These are our people and part of what made this nation great.
The Preamble to the Constitution says "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." I often ask myself why so many current elected officials sent our troops abroad to die on foreign soil yet in secret they had already started selling out our great nation. It is pretty clear there was no loyalty to our government and more importantly to "we the people." Why do we have troops going to prison for a failure of allegiance to our government yet politicians pad their wallets for the same thing at no cost or penalty? Why do "we the people" continue to accept these practices? If a nation can no longer trust it's method of casting ballots to elect political officials to represent "we the people" then do we still have a nation built on the same foundation we have lived by from our founding fathers? We still have our faith and must always believe this as a No 1 priority no matter how things turn out in the Presidential election of 2020.
As we move through this post-election process and learn more about the possibility of Americans selling out our nation to Communist China, I can't help but reflect back to the many miles I have enjoyed learning about America. From the ports of Mobile, New Orleans, Baltimore and Seattle, to the high rise towers of NY City, Chicago, and Los Angeles, the dirty farmer standing in the fields while dust bowls swept around them in the midwestern states to seeing my first mound of beets in Eastern Montana. I still see the long lines of tourist lined up at Graceland to visit the Elvis Homeplace to thousands of people waiting on a holiday parade in NY City or Los Angeles.
When I visited and walked through Arlington Cemetery all these thoughts of the America I was blessed to see during my many trips around the country surfaced. The brave men and women laying at rest all grew roots in these many places I had traveled and now they remained together as one. The fallen heroes from many places had a common theme in their final resting spot. These Americans died for our great nation when called upon to stand and defend others. That is America. Land of the free and home of the brave. Many died for you and me.
It is not wrong to be masculine or to finish first. It is not wrong to be born a certain color. That is what makes this a great nation. We are good people and for all people to succeed. As people of faith we are taught to forgive and forget and to not hold grudges against our brothers and sisters. Regardless of our status, education, color, or location, we are Americans today, tomorrow and always. It is pretty much a given for me, when I hear America the Beautiful, Battle Hymn of the Republic, or the National Anthem, I can't help myself but to get teary eyed and emotional because I have been blessed to live in this great land. Do you ever feel this way as well? The flag that flies means something to me. It tells an amazing story. It isn't just a piece of material blowing in the breeze.
I have been blessed to see the world and spend time in third world countries where water and sanitation lacked, food was something most wished to have available, the people had no faith in their corrupt governments, the haves controlled the have nots, and in many of these locations, a hope existed for America to come to the rescue. I have had personal conversations with these people during my trips abroad and they also got teary eyed. Except it was tears out of hope for a chance to come to America and live their dream for a better chance in life and for their family. You see, this is where it is baffling to me. Outsiders want to be part of the dream that made America great while Americans sold out the same dream by padding their wallets and giving up their dream of continuing to make America great.
Personally, I'm not ready for a change or to try something different. I would strongly encourage you to start or continue your preparedness steps of food, water, shelter and security with a strong emphasis on your personal spiritual, psychological and physical well being during this time of the unknown. You want to be as self-reliant in the coming days, weeks, and months, as possible. Do your best to encourage family and neighbors to do the same. It won't be easy at this point but at least try. If things go south it will take a village to survive the possible unknown ahead. We the people will stand strong and we shall prevail in the end. It may not be easy but our faith, strength and courage will see us through. Isn't that how the story of America started and how the story is supposed to go?
How can anyone who lives in this great land have such greed and dislike for our history and what "we the people" stand for? We aren't perfect people but when wrong, we have tried to learn and fix our mistakes to be better people for our great nation. The founders and forefathers who built the Constitution of America warned us about people like we are witnessing today. Just like in the beginning, "we the people" must stand strong against all enemies, foreign and domestic, pray for His will to be done, and continue to keep the American dream alive for our children and grandchildren We are their only hope to enjoy the things we enjoyed growing up.

Suicides are on the rise and the holiday season will contribute to this national problem. Think of those around you and share a smile or a meal if you can.

Prayers - Please keep our great nation, our elected leaders, military and first responders in your thoughts and prayers. Please pray for our leadership to find answers and guidance to the problems facing our great nation as we continue to resolve our election. May peace be cast upon us and protect us each day while searching for honesty in the election results. I pray for each, and every one of our Patriots. Please keep a sister Patriot in Alabama in your prayers as she just had major back surgery. May she recover quickly and be back on her feet soon. We also pray for unspoken request. May we all be protected from the growing evils surrounding and attacking our families daily. May we pray for all the blessings and things in life to be thankful about and continued hope for revival around the world. We must continually pray for the unsaved, our family and friends who live each day without the protection for eternal life and salvation. Amen.
Keep charging and have a safe week. Don’t allow the events around us to create fear in your life. Build your own self-reliance and focus on hope. We are a blessed nation and we must continue to be great people.
