Patriot Express Newsletter Edition #130

Fellow Patriots,

Greetings and welcome to the Patriot Express Newsletter Edition #130. Thank you for stopping by to share your time with HFS. I want to extend a big HFS welcome to the newcomers. Thanks for your messages and communications over the past week. I had hoped October would slow a bit from the pace of August and September here at HFS but it was wishful thinking. Things seem to be speeding up as the tyranny around us seems to be on a expedited pace. Are you ready?

Here at HFS we attempt to give you current information and preparedness guidance and tips to the best extent possible. I do avoid certain topics in order to maintain the website and continue communicating with you the Patriot reader. No matter what is happening in the world or our great nation it is going to come down to how well you are prepared for self reliance. It is that simple. Only you know what efforts you are preparing spiritually, physically, and psychologically. I hope the day does not arrive when a family member looks at you and ask the dreaded question, "I'm hungry, why do we not have food to eat?"

It was a great week in our local area because Ms. Lucy and I got to attend church and then break bread with our of our local HFS Patriots which has been very rare this summer and then we got to see our Patriot sister and brother in our neighborhood and chat some. Our Patriot brother has been battling Covid the past month so it was good to see him out. It is always a good week to spend time with like minded American loving Patriots. More in thoughts for the week.

I want to extend a big "thank you" to our HFS Community Teams/Nodes/Tribes in Waynesville, NC, Frank/Dill, NC, Huntsville, AL, and Monticello, KY, for their ongoing training and efforts to better prepare members in basic skills in communications, gardening, fire starting, and other needed skills to make one self-reliant during disasters that could occur without little warning. Congrats to all of you for a job well done.

Let us move along...

Guest and Newcomers

If you are a guest or newcomer to the HFS journey, please check out this link for additional

Hope for Survival books: The holidays are approaching quickly and now is a great time to order and receive copies of my two preparedness books. In the past HFS members purchase books for family members who may be in their early stages of preparedness. It is also a good time to purchase books because all proceeds off the books goes to a local charity to fund food for those in need. The number in need today is high and they will go higher going in to winter as many work seasonal jobs or others who are losing jobs because of no vaccination. HFS donates the largest amount to this cause during the holiday period to help ensure all families will have a good meal over Thanksgiving and/or Christmas. HFS is very appreciative to past purchases of my books to help support this growing need.

You can obtain information on the two HFS books at this link: Survival, Preparedness, Disaster Management for individuals or family (hopeforsurvival.com)

Let’s move along and get to some thoughts...

Thoughts for the week

It was another crazy week here at HFS. It seems just as Ms. Lucy and I make it home we are packing again to go in different directions. She went south to tend to grandchildren and I journeyed back east unexpected to attend a family members funeral. Funerals are never fun and I try my best to avoid them. Not out of disrespect to the family, friends or the loved one who passed. It just brings back to many memories from my prior life in the military and losing service members in the line of duty or otherwise. But, sometimes we just have to pull up our spenders and suck it up and get er done. Right?

I didn't depart VA/WV until this morning because we had purchased 1/2 a beef locally and it was ready for pick up. A family member had planned to bring it to us but going home for the funeral took care of that plan. I was driving out of West Virginia late morning headed south down Interstate 77 towards Interstate 81 in Wytheville VA to turn towards Bristol and further west. You may remember I was just over through that area a few days ago. Like maybe a week if that. I was absolutely amazed at how fast the trees are changing. Last week I got to see partial change with the bright orange, gold, and red colors starting to show. This trip the trees are in full color. It was pouring rain both to and from home but the colors still reflected off the rain. Autumn is my favorite season and this caught my attention and thoughts.

While driving through the beautiful hills, hearing the wipers go back and forth, and cars and trucks zoom by me, my thoughts ventured to our current state of problems and the condition of our great nation. I didn't let the thoughts ruin what I was seeing in no way. But, I was thinking to myself how our fathers and grandfathers had laid the miles and miles of open highways to make travel and commerce so much easier. I love the back road journey through America as time permits because to me, there is no better exclamation point about America than the ladies and men in small town America. Hard working, honest, a hand shake is a deal, types of people. You can ask a question and look in the persons eyes and not see deception or untruths. To me, this is America.

Today and over the past months and years an effort has been ongoing to turn the minds of our children against our proud heritage and love for this great land. Children, teens, and young adults would rather play with technology than learn to hoe a garden, tune an engine, shoot a gun, or learn the difference between a cow and bull. They believe flying from point A to B is the only way to do it where as many of us older Americans enjoy our history, the back roads, and stopping at a local truck stop or town sandwich shop to grab a coffee or samich. The food is good but the stories are better. How much of our remaining history that is being erased was learned from the back roads, the old coal miners, truck drivers, farmers, roofers, and steel industry? I think back to growing up and remember my favorite teacher often telling stories of America. It was like a dream. Places I would probably never see in my life from a child's eyes. I never knew what life ahead would bring and this small town West Virginia boy would get to see that world and the many cities and locations around America. She is a story within each stop.

I have always loved America and the fascinating stories produced. Years ago around 1991 I was living in Great Falls, Montana and the military sent me to Richmond, VA for a 30 day school. I opted to not fly and to drive my 4 cylinder Nissan truck with no air conditioner on the trip. Why not? It was a great time to see America. My trip to school was one route and the trip home another. It was August and very steamy but perfect. On the route home I opted to journey up through Kentucky and over to Iowa and across South Dakota. I remember riding through Iowa with my windows down and all I could smell was cow manure through the air. Oddly, I smiled and thought to myself, this is America and isn't she wonderful. My trip home was during the summer Olympic games and the US fielded the very first Dream Team using NBA basketball stars sporting beautiful red, white, and blue uniforms. My sports hero at the time was Larry Bird and he was on the team. I found a broadcast of the game on my AM truck radio and passed the humid evening listening to the Dream Team and smelling cow dung. I was two doors down from Heaven I thought at the time. How could life be any better. Today I wonder why so many hate America, our history, and all she has stood for over the years. Never perfect but always the nation of people willing to help others.

So I must admit to you to close these thoughts that I realized today I have been having an affair. Yep, it is true. I have been in love with America my entire life and she never gets old or dull. She is as beautiful today as my dreams as a child. I just wonder today how long this will last as so many wish to bring her down and make her something she was never intended to be. I haven't figured out yet how to break this news to Ms. Lucy but I think she already knows it.

To you I say, take a break and stop what you are doing and worrying about. Go take a ride to a favorite place and enjoy the things you used to enjoy and maybe had forgotten about. Stop at a local shop and grab a samich and take in a story. Treasure the moments and remember it is We the People who makes this land the greatest place on earth. She has been ours to live, love, and enjoy and now we must decide at what cost she is worth to keep as we have known her. Thanks for reading my story. Blessings to all.

At first I wasn't sure I wanted to tackle this rabbit for this weeks "Thoughts for the week" because it is like venturing in to the never explored cave. What do I mean? One can simply read the definition of the EMP and end it at that point. Or, they can read, explore, ask questions, and then do further research generating more questions. It is clearly the individual choice. Fully understanding the depths of the EMP and the threat it poses is deep and time consuming. Oh, it can be scary also.

It doesn't take much effort to quickly discover the EMP topic offers much creativity and following of the post-apocalyptic writers, television and movie producers. It is easy to get sucked in to the imagined drama and excitement of the nation or world coming to a complete stop. A lot of preparers tell me the single book that got their attention was One Second After by Dr. William Fortschen. Other post-apocalyptic authors writing around the EMP topic are Steven Bird, Franklin Horton, Angry American, and others. Maybe you watched the Jericho series? It appears easy for one to create drama from something as tragic as the EMP. The Federal Government conducted a study a few years ago saying if the nation suffered a pandemic or EMP roughly 90% of the people would die in the first year.

Imagine, it is 2021 today and you can send a group text or have a three way chat with your Alexa and then go to bed to wake up tomorrow to a new adventure in the 1800s. Have you seriously given thought to your life completely changed? No car. No television. No internet. No microwave. No ATMs. No airplanes. No sanitation or water. No cell phones. No texting. No email. Cancel your plans to travel to your grandsons first birthday party this weekend. Aside from the typical test of the car not starting, your digital watch stopping, and your cell phone being dead, how will you know an EMP or CME hit or is your area or the nation being hit with a partial take down to simulate and make you believe a EMP or CME has hit the nation?

For newcomers to the topic, you may be asking "what is a EMP?"

The electromagnetic pulse (EMP) is an intense pulse of electromagnetic radiation, especially one generated by a nuclear explosion and occurring high above the earth’s surface. Sometimes the EMP is called a transient electromagnetic disturbance and is a short burst of electro-magnetic energy. This can be a natural occurrence or manmade and can occur as a radiated, electric or magnetic field, or a conducted electric current, depending on the source.

The three components of a nuclear EMP (E1, E2, E3) as defined by the International Electro-technical Committee (IEC) are:

E1: The pulse is the very fast component of nuclear EMP. It is a very brief, less than a second, but intense electromagnetic field that can quickly induce very high voltages in electrical conductors. E1 is the component that can destroy computers and communications equipment. It changes too fast for ordinary lightning protectors to provide effective protection against it, although consumer transient protectors are becoming increasingly able to handle faster rise-time pulses. There are special transient protectors that are fast enough to suppress nuclear EMP.

There are many reports of super-EMP nuclear weapons that can overcome the 50,000 volt per meter limit by the very nearly instantaneous release of a burst of gamma radiation of much higher energy levels than are known to be produced by second generation nuclear weapons. The construction details of these weapons are classified, and therefore, cannot be confirmed by scientists in the open scientific literature.

E2: This component is generated by scattered gamma rays and inelastic gammas produced by weapon neutrons. This E2 component is an "intermediate time" pulse that, by the IEC definition, lasts from about one microsecond to one second after the beginning of the electromagnetic pulse. The E2 component of the pulse has many similarities to the electromagnetic pulses produced by lightning, although the electromagnetic pulse induced by a very close lightning strike may be considerably larger than the E2 component of a nuclear EMP. Because of the similarities to lightning-caused pulses and the widespread use of lightning protection technology, the E2 pulse is generally considered to be the easiest to protect against.

According to the United States EMP Commission Report of 2004, the main potential problem with the E2 component is the fact that it immediately follows the E1 component, which may have damaged the devices that would normally protect against E2. "In general, it would not be an issue for critical infrastructure systems since they have existing protective measures for defense against occasional lightning strikes. The most significant risk is synergistic, because the E2 component follows a small fraction of a second after the first component's insult, which has the ability to impair or destroy many protective and control features. The energy associated with the second component thus may be allowed to pass into and damage systems.

E3: This component is very different from the other two major components of nuclear EMP. The E3 component of the pulse is a very slow pulse, lasting tens to hundreds of seconds, that is caused by the nuclear detonation heaving the Earth's magnetic field out of the way, followed by the restoration of the magnetic field to its natural place. The E3 component has similarities to a geomagnetic storm caused by a very severe solar coronal mass ejection (CME). Like a geomagnetic storm, E3 can produce geomagnetic induced currents in long electrical conductors, which can then damage or destroy components such as power line transformers. These currents are often called quasi-DC currents because they resemble the direct current from a battery more than what most people think of as a pulse. Nearly all of the damage from E3 in modern systems occurs to the AC power grid, which is generally not designed to handle direct currents, especially in critical devices such as power transformers.

Because of the similarity between solar-induced geomagnetic storms and nuclear E3, it has become common to refer to solar-induced geomagnetic storms as a "solar EMP." At ground level, however, solar EMP is NOT known to produce an E1 or E2 component. The phrase solar EMP has caused a huge amount of confusion in the general public.

There are years of information and research on the EMP topic, but with little to no resolve to address its consequences. In 2001 – 2017 the EMP Commission Study assessed the threat to the U.S. from an EMP attack. Again in 2004 and 2008, the EMP Commission testified to the Armed Services Committee that the U.S. society and economy are so critically independent upon the availability of electricity that a significant collapse of the grid precipitated by a major natural or manmade event, or EMP, could result in catastrophic civilian casualties.

In 2016, the Department of Energy put forth efforts to improve EMP resilience through much research and studies. Such as, the Methodology to assess high-altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP) impact on the Electric Gird (Oak Ridge National Laboratory), the EMP/GMD Impacts Study (Los Alamos National Laboratory),the Report of Vulnerability of and Impact to Grid from an EMP (Idaho National Laboratory),the Joint Electromagnetic Pulse Resilience Strategy, and the U.S. Department of Energy Electromagnetic Pulse Resilience (Idaho National Laboratory).

Also, in 2016, Congress approved the Critical Infrastructure Protection Act (CIPA) by inserting it into the National Defense Authorization Act. Passage meant that millions of emergency planners and first responders across the nation would become part of the solution to the existential threat of an EMP. Through all the studies and the identification of the threat, not until our past president, Donald Trump, has action begun to take place. The problem has yet to be resolved.

Even with the EMP being a significant threat to the United States and our way of life, one must wonder why this remains an ongoing issue when multiple reports state $3 billion dollars will significantly upgrade and fix the U.S. grid system. Several studies conclude that the federal government lacks focus and commitment to addressing this danger. The public utilities have failed to get onboard even though it will be their responsibility to fix the problem. These three reports on an EMP offer great insight and opinion as to where things currently stand.

Remember, studies can be on target and/or be swayed by the financier of the study. Needed results may possibly drive outcomes. I found these three studies very informative.

The President’s National Infrastructure Advisory Council - How to Strengthen the Capabilities of the Nation - December 2018

Electromagnetic Defense Task Force - LeMay Center for Doctrine Air University - Maxwell AFB, AL - August 2018

The Early-Time High-Altitude EMP and Its Impact on the U.S. Power Grid - A study for Oak Ridge National Laboratory - January 2010

You may be asking "why will the government not spend $3 billion dollars to fix the problem?" Great question. One who is willing to research can probably find a million reasons to the sun and back and still scratch your head wondering why. Guess what? It gets worse. It really does. It is bad enough to think $3 billion dollars could fix the problem yet our elected government fails to make it happen when the EMP damage would require getting new transformers from China or Europe and the build time is about 18 months during normal times. Then the transformers must be moved to port and shipped to the United States. Once arriving to the United States the transformers must be unloaded, loaded, and shipped via land or rail to its destinations across America. How? Remember, we are now living in the 1800s again. Remember, just $3 billion dollars.

So let me share more news with you on what is ongoing while we wait on our government to step up and be responsible. Today things are modernized or digital which was supposed to provide less opportunity for errors and better security capabilities. Digital capabilities also would expedite command and control of processes and procedures. Most of the control mechanisms in place today to control and protect the United States grid is controlled by multiple layers of security features mostly via software programs and platforms. With these types of layered programming and protection the goal would be to prevent outsiders the ability to hack in to the software to disrupt or take down the grid at any level or location. Feeling pretty good about this right now? Ahhhh, let me continue.

As reported recently by fellow Patriot Jonathan Hollerman, in the past ten years roughly, the United States Government has been contracting through a company known as JSHP Transformer which is Chinese owned. JSHP Transformer Get that? So when you go check it out it now shows JSHP as an American family owned company, however, it appears China is using this as a front company. It is a direct line to the Government. A company named Double Tree Systems is linked to JSHP via China. The USA version is located in California. Same same. The CEO and GM of JSHP USA is Chinese. Double Tree Systems lists the same name, same person, as their CEO and GM. Same man. Same Office. Same title. One man, two companies, two titles. The Chinese Government has purchased 100% of the rights to JSHP and Double Tree Systems. The Chinese Government owns the rights to the generators being sold and shipped to the United States. Under a 2017 Chinese law, all Chinese owned companies are required to cooperate with Chinese Intelligence Organizations and goals. Still with me?

Over the past ten years the US Government has been contracting Double Tree Systems to install their grid protection and monitoring software on our grid systems. Even though most of the unknown information is Top Secret, it is known one of the generators with the installed grid protection and monitoring software applied was pulled from the shipping lines and taken to Sandia Labs in New Mexico to be studied and it was discovered the systems included a "kill switch" which would allow the Chinese to shut down our grid remotely. During the years of the Trump Administration, a stop was placed on the existing Executive Order stopping our government from using, however on Day 1 of the current administration the Executive Order was turned back on. If you want more detail on this check out Johnathan's latest podcast below:

Often while teaching Preparedness classes on manmade events, the first topic to surface is the Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) and/or Nuclear meltdowns as a result of the EMP. Many minds are convinced the world will end as a result of an EMP. There are several recent studies available on the internet from government departments and agencies, and they note that China and Russia now possess hypersonic capabilities. What this means is that the current U.S. Missile Defense capabilities would struggle to keep up with the hypersonic threats facing the nation. These hypersonic threats offer the ability to detonate above the United States creating an EMP result.

You have probably by now concluded this is a deep, technical, and time-consuming topic that requires much research and consideration. Do you now ask "will a car start? Will it fry your HVAC? How long will emergency generators run before a meltdown?" But, the most important thing you should ask yourself is, “Am I prepared to survive these events and protect my family?”

Yes, a full grid-down scenario from an EMP would be a major life altering event. If you liked watching Little House on the Prairie or Ponderosa, you may enjoy life post-EMP. Just remember, the ability to simulate the EMP with current technology and hardware is minimal. If you wish to learn more about the EMP, I would recommend researching writings by Dr. Peter Vincent Pry, reading the previously mentioned book, "One Second Afterseries by Dr. William Fortschen, or reviewing the studies I previously referenced. Form your own understanding of the threat.

A few other books you could consider would be:

- Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP): Threat to Critical Infrastructure - Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Protection, and Security Technologies of the Committee on Homeland Security House of Representatives

- 21st Century Complete Guide to Electromagnetic Pulse EMP - Nuclear Weapon Effects (NWE) and the Threat of the Electric Grid and Critical Infrastructure HEMP, EMI, and Microwave Devices

- Blackout Wars - Dr. Peter Vincent Pry

What if the United States is impacted by an Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) or severe space weather such as a coronal mass ejection (CME) releasing large quantities of matter and electromagnetic radiation into space above the sun’s surface causing an interplanetary Coronal Mass Ejection (CME). They should sound familiar because the CME has been in the news as of late. According to a Congressional Study (2004 and 2017), if the U.S. is impacted with an EMP, it could induce ground currents that would disable 300 key transformers within about 90 seconds, cutting off the power for more than 130 million people. One of the first vital resources to go could be drinkable water. People living in a high-rise apartment where water must be pumped to reach them would be cut off almost immediately. Those not losing water immediately may get water through the tap for about half a day. With no electricity to pump water from reservoirs, there is no more after that. Now what? What is your plan?

While we are on the topic of the EMP, you may wish to learn about and give some consideration to what is called a faraday cage. This is a grounded metal screen surrounding a piece of equipment to exclude electrostatic and electromagnetic influences. You can find a lot of information, guidance, and protective equipment that will drain your bank account. Before you spend any money you should read and understand what causes a need for the faraday cage and what the faraday cage does for you.

In the past years I have encountered numerous individual approaches to building faraday protection. Heck, I have even encountered different definitions of what the EMP stands for and is about. I mentioned this story in my first book how a gentleman I knew put his money before his brain and took out a loan against his retirement. He invested roughly $40,000 to turn his two-car garage into a faraday cage. I asked, “What exactly are you protecting?” and he responded, “Everything in my garage because I am not sure what to protect.” This was a legitimate response; however, I think the wise choice would have been to conduct further research, and he probably could have invested $1,000 and had the same protection.

Always remember this, you are not the first cowboy to ride the Wal-Mart stallion. It has gone around in circles many times before you. Ask questions, research, and get two to three solid opinions before investing a great deal of money for equipment. There are professionals available who provide advice and guidance for a living. Ask the question no matter how silly it may seem. If it saves your life it is probably not so silly, right?

Dr. Arthur Bradley who many of you will recognize from being the guest speaker at Heritage Life Skills in 2019 I do believe and his focus is heavy on the EMP threat and ways to protect yourself from the EMP and CME. This week Dr. Bradley posted the following article on his webpage at

Here is the article:

"I came across an interesting article describing how Russia is working on a new directed EMP cannon – probably something truck or track mounted. Portable electromagnet (EM) weapons have been around for years, but it appears our adversaries see value in improving these technologies for use on the 21st century battlefield. With the notable exception of nuclear EMPs, EM weapons are typically short-range disruptive devices, harming a specific facility or military base by damaging communications, rebooting computers, destroying data, and in general making a mess of things. Of course, there are also EM weapons specifically designed to harm people, such as those that cause burns and debilitating nausea, as well as lasers and other systems designed to destroy drones and other systems (article).

There have been a number of EM weapon demonstrations over the years. One that I remember was in 2012 when North Korea used truck-based EM systems to jam the GPS signals of over hundreds of aircraft and ships in and around South Korea’s Incheon and Gimpo Airports (article). Such devices can cause hardship and even loss of life with little recourse, short of all-out war. The truth is that our world is now an interconnection of high-speed digital networks that are very easy to disrupt, and we’re only going to see more examples of such attacks, whether they be from EM weapons or cyberattacks.

EM weapons and cyber attacks have the benefit that failed attempts usually go unnoticed. It’s only when systems begin malfunctioning that administrators realize they are under attack. Disruptive EM attacks can be made by radiating from an antenna or through the use of a hardwire connection. Hardwire connections transfer energy much more efficiently but also require being in close proximity to the target. Antenna-based systems obviously give better range but at the expense of diminished power. Here’s a short article on the subject.

Breaking it down further, disruptive EM attacks can either use narrowband or wideband waveforms. Narrowband waveforms are typically a single frequency (aka a tone), although they can sometimes be modulated with other frequencies for maximum effect. By comparison, wideband waveforms are very brief pulses in time, which can be thought of as a wide range of frequencies all rolled up together. The E1 of a nuclear EMP is a good example of a wideband waveform.

Each waveform type has different advantages and disadvantages. Narrowband waveforms can transmit very high power levels, but they’re not likely to couple well into every system. Likewise, wideband waveforms don’t transmit power as efficiently, but they can be pulsed thousands of times per second to interfere with or even damage computers and communications hardware.

Standard corded computers are generally thought to be vulnerable at about 30-300 volts/meter of radiated narrowband fields. For handheld devices, that number might go up to around 5 kV/m. Likewise, computer systems are damaged at about 5 kV/m for wideband fields. The problem, of course, is that nuclear EMPs can generate approximately 50 kV/m, with some super-EMP weapons perhaps reaching up to 200 kV/m (article).

My recommendation has always been to keep portable electronics in a Faraday cage that offers 50+ dB of protection. Shielding of 50 dB reduces 50 kV/m down to 158 v/m. Even with a 200 kV/m super-EMP weapon, the voltage would only be 632 v/m – still survivable by most electronics that are unpowered. Of course, shielding in excess of 50 dB offers even better protection.

Good options for shielding small electronics are to use EMP bags or homemade Faraday cages. Larger items can be covered with conductive cloth, or completely enclosed in a shielded tent or room. Electronics that must remain plugged in benefit from ferrites on their power cords, as well as good whole-house surge suppression. Finally, vehicles can be protected from damaging electrical transients using the T.R.A.P. products" Stay safe, Arthur Bradley, Ph.D.

I recently shared how my buddy Wilson has been hard at work putting away food for the winter months. When Wilson doesn't come around to give me psychological counseling and tell me how us humans are destroying America, I can deduct he is out gathering his own preparedness resources to survive through the cold months. He isn't at home watching YouTube videos or playing on the internet like so many humans choose to do.

One of our Patriot sisters in North Carolina shared a story with me this week and said she thought of Wilson when reading the article. For you new Patriots reading the HFS PENL, Wilson is a star on his own and is somewhat of a celebrity in his own way. You see, Wilson is a squirrel who hangs out around my property and often pops in to chat, listen, and offer his own squirrely opinion. For free!!!

Here you can see where one of Wilson's relatives or friends stocked up walnuts to the tune of 175 lbs of goodies hidden in this trucks engine compartment.

Please consider keeping many of our Patriots in your prayers. Many have chosen to not get the vaccination and are being forced from their employment in the next 45 days. Some are being forced to vacate their position and will be losing all their retirement benefits they worked towards their entire life. We can shout how wrong this is, but the fact remains the same, they will be jobless shortly. Others are not near retirement and must make a hard choice to take the vaccine or move on to lesser employment when they may be the primary income earner in their home. This is a difficult decision and is an individual choice, either way. Please think about these Patriots and include them in your thoughts and prayers please. Thank you.

And that is it for my thoughts this week. Let's move along now to some preparedness and other news for the week.

Preparedness News

1. From Jaqueline - Deep Roots at Home - The Spike Protein Protocol: What We All Can Do to Stay Healthy (deeprootsathome.com) - Let me be clear here, I am not a doctor nor do I give medical advice. I found the information in this article worthwhile and wanted to share it this week. Check it out.

2. From Tom Marlowe - Modern Survivor Sullivan - Preserving Meat in the Wild 9 Ways - Survival Sullivan - Another excellent article with important information to preserve meat several different ways.

3. From Tim Makay - Survival Online - Root Cellar Basics: What You Need to Know (modernsurvivalonline.com) - I was just having a discussion this week a like minded Patriot on building a root cellar. If you have a location and the capability to add one to your preparedness resources consider doing it.

4. From Lauren Dibble - Hillsborough Homesteading - Medicinal Benefits of Marsh Mallow Root (hillsborough-homesteading.com) - Very good article. Check it out. Consider putting the information on a index card or print for your library.

5. From Ashley Adamant - Practical Self Reliance - Crabapple Jelly (practicalselfreliance.com) - My mouth is watering just thinking of this jelly spread across a couple hot biscuits.

6. From KJ Barber - Ask a Prepper - 14 Survival Trees You Can Forage For Medicine - Ask a Prepper - Funny I would come across this article when I just watched a video of Dave Canteberry discussing the importance of knowing different trees and purposes they serve for medicinal needs.

Other News -

1. From Editors - The National Review - Terry McAuliffe: No Role for Parents in School Curriculum | National Review - Isn't a proven fact simply from looking at Generation Z our public schools should not be in control of the curriculum or molding the minds of our children and grandchildren? Remember about ten or more years ago when all the outrage by parents when finding out public schools started teaching 1st graders how to put condoms on cucumbers? Remember that? Either the parental response wasn't loud enough or else the tax funded school systems ignored parental wishes. I would also have to ask the question to teachers who are parents. How can you stand in a classroom teaching this garbage to young minds when it includes your own child. Churches? I hear crickets. Nothing other than a simple whisper on a radio show or written in a magazine article hidden on page 30.

2. From John Edwards - Epoch Times - One of World’s Largest Port Operators Warns Global Supply Chain ‘Crisis’ Will Last Longer Than Expected (theepochtimes.com) - More signs of problems ahead. Are you ready? Fewer resources and higher prices can be expected across the nation. Many HFS Patriots are reporting few resources in their area along with higher fuel cost. In my area fuel has increased over 20 cents per gallon in a week.

3. From John Green - American Thinker - They Can’t Win if We Won’t Surrender - American Thinker - I do believe many Americans who are not paying attention would argue that we are NOT at war for the soul of our nation. They vote. They are a large percentage in numbers. The reality in my opinion is we are in fact at war to save our great nation. War does not have to be fought using bullets and warfare. Simply surround the enemy and cut off their needs and break their will to survive. As Sun Tzu said in the famous book The Art of War, "surround your enemy and break their supply chain to what they need to survive and they will give up without a bullet being fired." Isn't that what we are witnessing today?

5. From Martin Armstrong - Armstrong Economics - Yellen on Tracking Every Transaction $600 or Greater | Armstrong Economics - You may want to get up to speed on this and let your elected officials know how you feel about it. Imagine having the IRS and Federal Government managing your finances for you daily. Can you get used to it?

6. From Mass Private - License Plate Readers Use Footage From Ring, Smartphones And ATMs To ID Vehicles | MassPrivateI - One must love all the convenience afforded to our lives here in America. "Alexa, remind me of what time I left my home yesterday." Make sure you smile at all times because someone has you on camera.

Drum roll...........

That's all my Patriot brothers and sisters.

Prayers - Please keep our great nation, our elected leaders, military and first responders in your thoughts and prayers. We pray for good health and wisdom. Please pray for our leadership to find answers and guidance to the problems facing our great nation. May your faith remain strong and answers to the unknown provided. God is good and may our prayers blanket and protect you and your circumstances. I pray for each, and every one of our Patriots.

May we pray for all the blessings and things in life to be thankful about and continued hope for revival around the world. We must continually pray for the unsaved, our family and friends who live each day without the protection for eternal life and salvation.

Please pray for our Patriot sister and brother in Huntsville, AL who are going through the dreaded Covid now. We pray for quick recovery and strength coming out of it.

We have Patriots with personal prayer needs and/or family members with prayer needs as well.

As we have prayer needs for answers to health and family matters we also have prayers of thanks for recent health answers and recoveries.

We all must pray strong and often for the citizens of our great nation. Many of our sisters and brothers are struggling daily with things they witness, encounter, and are surprised with out of the norm. Many times we are in unchartered areas, however, we still must keep our faith and focus on the big picture. Our prayers and faithful strength together will be required often to battle the evils being thrown upon all of us minute by minute.

As Patriots we must stay strong and never give up. Our home, community and nation needs us now more than ever. Stay focused on your local community and things that will impact you around the nation. Don't allow the events around you to create fear in your life. Build your own self-reliance and focus on hope. Remember we are a blessed nation and we must continue to be great people today and make a better tomorrow. Keep charging.

Blessings,

Bravo Echo Out,
