Patriot Express Newsletter Edition #137

Fellow Patriots,

Greetings and welcome to the Patriot Express Newsletter Edition #137. Thank you for stopping by to spend some time checking out the PENL. It has been a busy week here at the HFS HQ (home) where Ms. Lucy has been working her behind off preparing our home for family arriving midweek for the holiday. It is not often we get to have both kids, husbands, and all five grandchildren together at our home. I can't keep Ms. Lucy's feet on the ground. We are thankful and blessed for this opportunity.

I tried to keep this version of the PENL shorter and a bit light on topic. You will find a few video type podcast with some fun information and light hearted music to enjoy over some apple cider if you desire. Sometimes we have to kick back and enjoy life and let the world stay outside the door. Know what I mean? I released the PENL early on Friday because we will be away all day and evening doing family things with our kids and grandkids.

On the HFS front it is always great when I get to talk to HFS Patriots in some form or fashion. I was happy to talk with team leaders from two of regions on future planning going forward. I also got to email with a few other HFS Patriots on different preparedness topics to include an upcoming project HFS has been working on all year. It is almost in the test phase and hopefully we can soon deploy it all of you. It will help you greatly in your food calculations. I'm so appreciative to our Patriot sister who has been bringing this tool to completion.

On a sad note, one of our loyal Patriot sisters passed away this week and is now with her heavenly father. She will be greatly missed but she is in a better place now. A woman of few words but a smile that was contagious for those around her. She was a woman of impeccable faith and if you ever asked her anything about the Bible you better have time on your hands to listen. We will miss you dear sister.

If you are the praying type, please make sure to read our prayer needs at the end of the PENL. We have lots of Patriots and family members needing our prayers at this time.

Let us move along...

Guest and Newcomers

If you are a guest or newcomer to the HFS journey, please check out this link for additional

Hope for Survival books: The holidays are approaching quickly and now is a great time to order and receive copies of my two preparedness books. In the past HFS members purchase books for family members who may be in their early stages of preparedness. It is also a good time to purchase books because all proceeds off the books goes to a local charity to fund food for those in need. The number in need today is high and they will go higher going in to winter as many work seasonal jobs or others who are losing jobs because of no vaccination. HFS donates the largest amount to this cause during the holiday period to help ensure all families will have a good meal over Thanksgiving and/or Christmas. HFS is very appreciative to past purchases of my books to help support this growing need.

You can obtain information on the two HFS books at this link: Survival, Preparedness, Disaster Management for individuals or family (hopeforsurvival.com)

Hope for Survival - The Mindset (Book 2)

We must make this brief public announcement to protect the innocent.

Ding, Ding, Ding....Attention HFS readers..... Opinions shared in this newsletter are just that, opinions, and nothing more. Read at your own risk. The owner and author of this site is not responsible for hurt feelings or thin-skinned readers. I do my best to show restraint and respect to the best extent possible. I take as many precautions as possible and try to remain as nonpolitical as possible, however, there are times when I just can't help but point certain things out. Occasionally I use words only Patriots recognize and understand. It's not personal against any non-Patriot. It's just the truth. Sometimes we must pull up our spenders and suck it up. Just saying. Stay the course, read what you want, and avoid the rest. Avoid fear porn as much as possible and the day will be okay. When all else fails… Keep the faith and always have Hope.

Let’s move along and get to some thoughts...

Thoughts for the week

It has been a long year to this point and very stressful for many. Many could not spend Thanksgiving together last year so hopefully you can this year. I wanted to give some light thoughts for this week's PENL.

Ms. Lucy and I wish you a happy and blessed Thanksgiving holiday. We hope you got to spend time together with family and friends to celebrate with a great meal, family bonding, friendship, and lots of smiles and laughs. We are blessed people and must remember all the things we have to be thankful for. We are so blessed to be a part of Hope for Survival with each of you. I like to call you our extended family. Thank you.

Here is one of my favorite stories of Thanksgiving as only Rush could share. I will miss Rush's annual Thanksgiving broadcast where he tells the Thanksgiving story.

Prepper Community for End Times - Pastor Joe shares his thoughts on current day circumstances and a believers prepper community.

Layering - Each situation for each individual requires different types of planning. Location, season, age, physical conditioning, threat, distance one projects they may have to travel via vehicle or by foot. In all these cases one or a group must properly think through the most likely situations and plan accordingly. When planning your layered process you should consider resources you have at home, your vehicle, bag(s), along the route(s) and a bug-out-location, if applicable in your plans. Sounds tough huh? Not really. It just means you need to give a lot of thought to potential scenarios you are most likely to face. Here is a good video discussion on the layering process with Pastor Joe from Viking Preparedness.

Next.....

Grab your favorite post meal pumpkin or pecan pie, some apple cider, coffee, or favorite beverage, and relax to some fun entertainment from the Moron brothers. Here's some good clean country fun.

And that is it for my thoughts this week. Let's move along now to some preparedness and other news for the week.

Preparedness News

1. From Vickies Country Home - It's Thanksgiving week so let's enjoy it with cooking some fresh food.

2. From Ashley Adamant - Practical Self Reliance - Canning Meat: Beginners Guide with 30+ Recipes (practicalselfreliance.com) - One of my favorite things to do in preparedness is can meat for future meals. The process is worth the time and having the resources available to use when desired is worth the effort. Not to mention, it eliminates the need for a freezer which frees up the need for power or the alternative power can be redirected to another need.

3. From Michael Snyder - Economic Collapse - This Is How They Intend To Get Us To “You Will Own Nothing And Be Happy” (theeconomiccollapseblog.com) - I continue to read the point made by the author more frequently as the weeks pass. Granted, if you read Agenda 2030 you will see this goal in clear writing.

4. From Preparedness Mama - How to Save Big and Go Grocery Shopping on a Budget - PreparednessMama - Regardless of the situation around us, it's always great to learn new ways to get good bargains and save funds to use on other preparedness resources.

5. From Aden Tate - The Organic Prepper - Harbor Freight Bug-Out Bag Supplies for $20 or Less (theorganicprepper.com) - I don't recall a single visit to Harbor Freight where I didn't buy something in addition to what I went to the store to purchase.

Other News -

1. Baron Bodissey - Gates of Vienna - Déjà Vu All Over Again | Gates of Vienna - Excellent read from someone who was experiencing it. Notice the things discussed we are witnessing today.

2. From Financial News - Pension Cash Dwindles, Risking Liquidity Crunch - 198 Financial News - This was originally a Wall Street Journal story. This topic has been hitting the story lines for a few months now at a accelerated rate.

3. From J.W. and Nisha Whitehead - The Rutherford Institute - The Rutherford Institute :: Don’t Give Up on the Blessings of Freedom | By John W. Whitehead & Nisha Whitehead |- Blessing and freedom are two of my favorite words for what they symbolize. I have spent periods of time in countries that didn't recognize either freedom or blessings and the difference in life and people is night and day. Even though the citizens should feel blessed to be alive, the lack or loss of freedoms left the citizens living in daily gloom.

4. From Tyler Durden - ZeroHedge - US Announces Coordinated, Global Oil Release Of Up To 50 Million Barrels, As Expected | ZeroHedge - This could be interesting. 50 million barrels. Let's see, if the ports are not working right and the trucks aren't moving, how will we move 50 million barrels? Oh, maybe through the pipelines? Let's just hope they aren't hacked again.

5. From Julie Kelley - American Greatness - Select Committee Covering Up Police Brutality on January 6 › American Greatness (amgreatness.com) - If you wish to follow the post Jan 6 cases of Patriots being held awaiting pre-trial and trials, follow Julie Kelley. She has been on this story for months.

Drum roll...........

That's all my Patriot brothers and sisters.

Prayers - Please keep our great nation, our elected leaders, military and first responders in your thoughts and prayers. We pray for good health and wisdom. Please pray for our leadership to find answers and guidance to the problems facing our great nation. May your faith remain strong and answers to the unknown provided. God is good and may our prayers blanket and protect you and your circumstances. I pray for each, and every one of our Patriots.

May we pray for all the blessings and things in life to be thankful about and continued hope for revival around the world. We must continually pray for the unsaved, our family and friends who live each day without the protection for eternal life and salvation.

Even with all the worldly challenges, struggles, and heartbreaks we must always give thanks for the blessings in our own life and our family each day. Life can be hard and sometimes unfair to us, but we still have many things to be thankful for each day. We must not forget them.

Many HFS Patriots are in tough situations and having to choose between the Covid-19 vaccine or losing their jobs. Please pray for wisdom and discernment as these folks move forward with a decision.

We have Patriots with personal prayer needs and/or family members with prayer needs as well.

Please pray for our Patriot sister in western NC who lost her mother this week. She and our Patriot brother (husband) are going through Covid-19 at this time and needs prayers. As I stated in the opening to the PENL, our dear sister (mother) will be missed but she is where she wanted to end up. With her heavenly father. She will be missed much and especially at the HFS Group dinners and training events where she was a loyal attendee. Ms. Lucy and I always enjoyed our time with her.

Please continue prayers for our Patriot family in Middle TN as they work through the struggles of life each day after the death of family member. I watch many of you struggle with daily news. Imagine having just lost a loved one and then dealing with everything else. This family lost a husband, father, and friend and the struggles are in the home and everyday life. This loss has impacted and continues to challenge this family in many ways.

Please pray for our Patriot brother in Western NC as he battles Covid-19 and our Patriot sister (Wife) is battling symptoms although testing negative.

We continue praying for author Glen Tate who wrote the 299 Days series and is the co-host of Prep 2.0 Podcast. He is now home from the hospital and recovering from his Covid-19.

Please pray for our Patriot brother in the Black Mountain region who lost his father this past week. Pray he has returned home safe from travel to attend the funeral.

Please pray for our Patriot sister in Central GA who is recovering from foot and ankle surgery. May you heel and mend timely without issues.

We pray for our Patriot sister who traveled to Western NC to assist her cousin in his battle with Covid-19. We pray for them and a full recovery and her safe travel back to northern Alabama.

I pray for Ms. Lucy's sister and brother-in-law in Jo-Berg South Africa who continues their missionary missions while trying to protect their home and family from attempted break ins. Jo-Berg has recently passed Chicago as the highest crime rate in the world.

Please pray for our Christian sisters and brothers around the world being denied access to their church because they aren't vaccinated. These stories are surfacing more and more weekly.

As we have prayer needs for answers to health and family matters we also have prayers of thanks for recent health answers and recoveries.

We all must pray strong and often for the citizens of our great nation. Many of our sisters and brothers are struggling daily with things they witness, encounter, and are surprised with out of the norm. Many times we are in unchartered areas, however, we still must keep our faith and focus on the big picture. Our prayers and faithful strength together will be required often to battle the evils being thrown upon all of us minute by minute.

As Patriots we must stay strong and never give up. Our home, community and nation needs us now more than ever. Stay focused on your local community and things that will impact you around the nation. Don't allow the events around you to create fear in your life. Build your own self-reliance and focus on hope. Remember we are a blessed nation and we must continue to be great people today and make a better tomorrow. Keep charging.

Blessings,

Bravo Echo Out,
