Greetings and welcome to the Patriot Express Newsletter Edition #271. Thanks for stopping by for this week's edition of the PENL. It has been a beautiful week here in East Tennessee and I hope the same goes for your area as well. In a year of much rain, it still amazes me we are in mid-June, and I have personally watered my garden one time. Thank you, Lord, for the wonderful treasures from above. On the other hand, we have had some of the strangest weather this year. Temperatures all over the place. But the heat is headed this way this week. If you are in the region, please take care and hydrate appropriately.
As I often tell you, my weeks are really special when I get to spend any time at all with HFS sisters and brothers. That was the case on several different occasions this week. It was birthday week and Ms. Lucy really made the old man feel special. I'm one who prefers a low-key day with minimal to zero fanfare or frills of celebration. It has been this way for many years. But, let me say this. If I can get time together in any manner with HFS friends, it's time that goes to fast. The feeling of sister and brotherhood is the best. Thanks to all who shared their time over the past week.
Do you remember the months prior to the 2020 election when 51 US Intelligence Agencies all signed and swore the discovered laptop said to be owned by Hunter Biden was a Russian Conspiracy? Remember that? It is believed the denial and sworn statements did in fact impact the 2020 election favoring the current administration. And, just like all the news coming out now on the Covid vaccine, the news on Hunter laptop is the same. How many trips to the carnival psychic table does it take before people get it? It's like the uncle we had growing up who always played tricks on us, and they always ended the same. Ohhhh, gotcha. Is it just me, or does anyone else find it interesting how Orange many traveled to Washington DC and visited all his Conservative brothers and sisters who cheered and clapped for him? Oh, how fun. Remember the guys named Romney and McConnel who voted against Orange man and openly stated how Orangeman caused January 6, 2021. Didn't it go something like that? So when did they kiss and make up? Do YOU honestly believe they stand for you and look out for you?
Speaking of a gotcha moment, I still believe there is a high likely hood that we will see the name Hillary Rodham Clinton on the 2024 Presidential ballot. Not as a dog catcher but in either the P or VP slot. Most likely the P slot. Oh, how I hope to be so wrong and eat crow.
As a Christian living in this upside-down world, it is easy to sometimes lose focus and often need reminders of His words. It is easy to get lost daily with all the temptations and evil distractions on every corner. Heck, often the distractions are local churches and buffet style religion where the money in a wallet is more important than bringing a soul to be saved. Wait, we are errored as humans and this should be expected, right? I once heard a solid Christian voice say, "we are full of sin and vinegar." Is being a Christian hard or do we make it harder than it has to be? A dear friend and HFS sister posted the following on another HFS platform this morning and it contributed to my thoughts of the morning. She wrote from John 16:33: "These things I (Jesus) have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." Tell me, why are so many Christians stressed out and fearing the world as it is today?
Imagine living in a make-believe world where everyone lived equally. No medical debt. No school debt. No abstract debt. No debt. Get that? Everyone is going to have income. New shoes. New large flat screen televisions. New tattoos. New gold studded hoodies for all. Happy, happy. Then? Drum roll.... it's all going to be taken away. Oh no. If you want to eat, you will now comply with the new system of evil.
Did HFS not tell you 90 days ago by mid-June it was going to be baking hot? Near 90 today and triple heat next week. Stay hydrated friends.
