Greetings and welcome to the Patriot Express Newsletter Edition #291. Thanks for stopping by for this week's edition. I hope you enjoyed a great week wherever you are. Tell me, which seems crazier at the moment, the weather or what is going on in Washington D.C.? It feels like a rumble before a big shaking to come. The question is, how big will it be. i will talk more on this topic in my thoughts for the week.
Okay, it's that time of year again for the Hope for Survival Annual "March Madness" donation drive. This is our 6th annual drive as we approach our six-year anniversary coming up soon. Without this donation drive HFS can't operate.
I want to tell you, conducting the donation drive this year has been a tough decision. Personally, I have struggled with it. As we all know, this has been a very strange year with the campaign, election, and natural disasters hitting the United States. Specifically, Hurricane Helene, not to mention the continued rise in food and fuel cost, loss of jobs, and so much more draining the wallets of our people.
The results of HH impacted so many and Hope for Survival stepped out on many facets to help and continues to help today. The wonderful family within HFS stepped up with monetary resources, manning distribution centers, driving loads of resources from community to community and state to state. Because of my own certifications and background, I accepted the invitation to go work onsite working a emergency operations center and provide support to survivors of the community. I continue supporting families in another TN location today and supporting continued donations sent to four disaster impacted states. My point is, so many of you donated your hard-earned money to support the recovery effort.
The HFS family donated over $15,000 and truck loads of resources as well. Non-HFS members donated another $10,000 supporting the recovery effort to date. Personally, I don't wish to go back out asking for donations again so soon, but this is our annual donation drive to help keep the preparedness effort moving forward. Without this effort several, or all, HFS platforms will go away. It's that simple.

I take as many precautions as possible and try to remain as nonpolitical as possible, however, there are times when I just can't help but point certain things out. Occasionally I use words only Patriots recognize and understand. It's not personal against any non-Patriot. It's just the truth. Sometimes we must pull up our spenders and suck it up. Just saying. Stay the course, read what you want, and avoid the rest. Avoid fear porn as much as possible and the day will be okay. When all else fails… Keep the faith and always have Hope.
Thoughts for the week - Americans hating America. Why?
I have always shared my great love for America. The history that documents our journey through hard times, but our ancestors hard work and sacrifices carried the nation forward and built an amazing nation, economy, assembly of migrants, faith-based foundation around our constitution and founding fathers' guidance. The citizens understood what sacrifices then would bring in their future. There was far less "I and me" then than what we have today. America was the place to migrate and raise a family.
There is nothing like driving across America and diverting from federal and state highways down to local backroads and hopping from town to town. It was one of the greatest joys of my life as a youngster serving in the Air Force. Driving the backroads of North and South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas. The foods, the people, the shops, the poor and their ways of life. Mississippi mud pie and Cajun Crawfish Creole. Driving across the many Louisiana land bridges in the middle of the night listening to radio stations from the deep south. Theres something about the cultures of music around America. Music has always told a story throughout our history. Today, I hear a song and immediately flash back to a point in our history to what was happening when a song was on the radio. When the radio when from AM to FM it was like a big "wow." Then cassette tapes pushed 8-tracks out and along came compact disc. Then came the word "digital" and download is the thing. Over the years, not only have we witnessed a transition from AM to digital downloads, but we've also witnessed many musicians losing jobs because electronic instruments such as keyboards can now replicate a horn player, string player, or about any other sound it wishes to make. Had someone told me back in 1980 a day would come when robots would replace humans and AI, or artificial intelligence would replace 40-50% of the working class by 2030.
There has been another part of America changing as well and it's extremely bothersome to me. More and more American born citizens hate America. They purposely wish to do everything possible to destroy our foundation and the fabric which so many sacrificed to build. This hate doesn't just boil within residents, it is a fire within some politicians to change America. I must ask, how did we get so far off track in the last 50 years. There was a time when a person would decide to run for political office because they believed they could contribute and make America a global force and lead the free world. Today, politicians say whatever is popular, get elected, and then go to Washington D.C. and get rich. They jump at the opportunity to pad their wallets and portfolio without blinking an eye.
Now, we have a special appointment of Elon Musk and D.O.G.E. going department to agency conducting a soft audit and the results are staggering. Yet, American citizens are screaming foul against this effort. The degree of fraud against the American Taxpayers is treasonous at a minimum. Aside from this point, I wonder if half the American populace actually reads and researches information on their own. I realize at a point in our nation's history the populace turned on the evening news and trusted the Tom Brokaw's and Petter Jennings voice. Today, our citizens are more focused on the Epstein visitation list than the fact they are paying over $8.00 for a dozen eggs. It's criminal because it didn't have to be this way.
I recently watched an interview with Elon Musk and a statement he made caught my attention. He was asked why he said "yes" to President Trump when asked to come help rebuild America. Musk, historically non-political but more so a Democrat in many views, said "Freedom is Priceless." Once it is gone, it's gone. Remember, Musk is from South Africa.
I want to tell you a quick story. Last week, Ms. Lucy and I had two new friends over to our home for pizza and some games. More so to get to know one another better and share some time. During our evening conversation we covered a lot of topics and somehow, we got on the topic of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. One could have thought they hit the lottery because the excitement in our friends' voices sharing their understanding and beliefs regarding the constitution was off the charts. They shared how they grew up in different parts of the country, yet their parent instilled in them they had to get their education and a skill in order to provide a living in life an adulthood. Their overwhelming passion to succeed and love for America was so awesome to witness. When I asked them their thoughts on the number of Americans who hate America, they simply shook their heads and disbelief and said, they need to go outside of America and see how others must live. They stated how America offers every opportunity to anyone of any color who wishes to succeed. I agree.
Oh, our friends both legally migrated to America as teenagers from south Asia and are now doctors with advanced degrees and training in their specialty. They are American citizens and love our great nation.

May we pray for all the blessings and things in life to be thankful about and continued hope for revival around the world. We must continually pray for the unsaved, our family and friends who live each day without the protection for eternal life and salvation.
Please continue praying for the survivors of the Hurricane Helene disaster, the California wildfires, and the recent floods in Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Virginia. They have many needs and a long haul ahead to recovery.
As Patriots we must stay strong and never give up. Our home, community, and nation need us now more than ever. Stay focused on your local community and things that will impact you around the nation. Don't allow the events around you to create fear in your life. Build your own self-reliance and focus on faith and hope. Remember we are a blessed nation, and we must continue to be great people today and make a better tomorrow. Keep charging.
