Greetings and welcome to the Patriot Express Newsletter Edition #305. Thanks for stopping by for this month's edition. It is March 2026. Thanks for your continued support and following HFS. The past year has been a bit rough for Ms. Lucy and me with some health issues, but the good Lord has been with us, and we are starting to feel healthy again.

We are quickly approaching gardening season and spring cleanup from a long winter. While we face wars and rumors of wars, government instability, national and family debt, and what seems like new trials at the start of each day. The reality is, we must move forward. We must have a plan going forward. How is your food, water, shelter, security, communications, medicinal and more. Have you stepped back and asked yourself this question; can I care for my family and community if we had to stand alone with no outside support for 30 days? Sixty or ninety? How about a year or permanently?

It is that time of year again and that means the Hope for Survival March Madness Donation Drive is here. This is the month when we ask for folks to consider donating to HFS to help us offset operations cost to continue with HFS platforms that we pay annual fees to operate. This website, Zoom, video editing software, licensing fees and more. For almost seven years we have taken no pay and continued to operate because of HFS supporters who donate each year to keep the process moving forward. Something a little different is we would like you to consider mailing your donation directly to us vs using PayPal because of the fee PayPal collects off of each donation. Because every dollar counts to meet our needs a check with your donation adds a few additional dollars towards needed funds. At the end of each year, PayPal reports all funds taken into the IRS and HFS must pay taxes on the total accumulated donations and book sales. Thank you for your consideration and years of support. Many of you are familiar with our dear friend Stephanie Johnson over in Yancey County, NC and her Rebuilding the Hollers, Come Hell or High Waters effort towards Yancey and Mitchell Counties. This is a continuation of disaster recovery from Hurricane Helene. Stephanie and her people are doing amazing work after 18 months of post-disaster recovery. In the world we are living today I believe it is more than ever important to do our best to be positive, project hope, and lead by example in all that we do. Agree? It is equally important for anyone around us to see us lead and share messages of truth but the reality of things around us. This reminds me of a quote I heard from a former Marine fighter pilot and the author of The Art of Peace, Mr. Bob Moriarty, who says, "I don't know if this is the beginning of the end or the end of the beginning." I often wonder what is up and what is down.

I know how this story ends and I still dread conversations with friends when the topic of America's demise surfaces. Even being a Christian and believing scripture I still get sad thinking about our homeland and how awesome this journey has been. People, places, events, and so many chapters in my own book of life. It has been a great ride filled with so many blessings. But just like so many things, time passes and our memory starts to fade of the past and what is before us now seems to capture our focus more than before.

Since 2015, others ask me why I don't seem to be upset or bothered by events of the world. Look above. What happens with those who are important to me daily and in my inner circle of life surround me. I have shared this often, if it doesn't directly impact my life, my family or community, then I can't waste time worrying about it. When something starts to bother you and keep you awake at night, you may want to step back and ask yourself what your focus and priorities are.

So, I wasn't overly worried about the Trump-Clinton, Trump-Biden, Trump-Harris fiascoes or the cheating, lying, or the rest of it. What had my attention was the moral decay of America. The realities of what I had believed for most of my life may have been false or me believing outside the realities. But at the same I was like most Americans and couldn't see the forest for the trees. Once my eyes opened and had security clearances in areas most never hear about or see, the world changed drastically. Looking back, I wonder if security classifications and clearances was to keep the American people from seeing what was going on and figuring it out vs keeping secrets from what was titled our enemies. Hmmm.

In the world we live today everyone is attracted to conspiracy theories. I believe this is contributing greatly to people not trusting anyone. EXCEPT the email from Nigeria with the long-lost cousin asking for your checking account. Or the poor older woman bundled up and frail appearing to be starving to death as a voice asks you for a monthly donation to support Israel. Now, before you throw rocks at me over that comment go do your homework to where the money actually goes. Isn't it funny how people will believe the voice of a total stranger on a podcast or the nightly news before they believe their pastor? People will trust in their last dollar buying a lottery ticket before they will drop to their knees and take a chance praying for the first time.

Today I no longer worry about Chief Black Eagle getting his head shaved or the term used back then was "scalped" which today would probably be labeled racist. When I look at world today, I focus more on scriptures like Romans 1, 21-32, or Matthew 24, or Revelations 13-17. If the Bible is just a simple book full of words, the author surely was very smart or just lucky to tells us things we would see happening today. Just saying. Isn't it interesting that our forefathers talked and shared thoughts and quotes on God and here we are 250 years later doing the same. Not stories about Taylor Swift, or rap songs cussing authority and adult parenting. Parents surely lost out on this one huh?

Aging does a funny thing and now early in retirement my focus no longer dwells on the wonderful times of my past but more so on what is happening to our wonderful country. Every day seems more bizarre. People we thought we could trust has proven we can't. A government we grew up trusting is now questionable. Pro-wrestling was believable until we learned it was fake also. I remember as a very young child going to my first pro-wrestling event and crying because my hero, Chief Black Eagle, lost and had to get his head shaved. I was so upset. My first clue should have been my dad chuckling. My grandfather was a pro-wrestling fan also, but not my dad. My dad used to often say, "we get wiser as we age." Maybe this is what is happening to me now. It is now clear to me, corruption and cheating go from local high school sports all the way to the Oval Office. Wisdom is such a blessing to have around. I would guess ninety-five percent of the people I have around me are older and wiser. I'm so fortunate that my life has brought me to the point where most of the insanity is outside my protected circle. This was not planned; it just happened this way for a reason. We aren't perfect on any account. We just live the best we can according to scripture, morals, conduct, fundamental truths, core beliefs, principles, integrity, loyalty, honesty, and lessons learned from our past. We always hug one another and when we depart, we always say, "I love you."

We don't know what time holds or what events could be ahead of us shortly. We won't even know what is real or AI generated. The world is preparing you for a virtual reality. It won't be such a shock to everyone when Agenda 2030 arrives.

Keep on preparing and brace for the realities.
